DAS Electrical Services offers anything from changing a light, to installing a new socket up to a full rewire. We are highly experienced within domestic installs and repairs and carry out methodical measures of fault finding. For any fault finding tasks we explain these processes to our customers so they fully understand the work that is taking place and the measures we will use to rectify the fault(s).

What do you love most about your job?
I really enjoy helping my customers especially if they have a nagging fault that they can't get to the bottom of. For example this could be a circuit breaker that is continuously tripping or it could be a each time a light keeps flickering. Whatever it is we really enjoy serving our customers and helping solve the problem
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been enthusiastic about starting my own business because from a young age I have been keen to see people happy. I figured matching good customer service with professional competent skills and experience will bring happiness to most customers if not all
Why should our clients choose you?
I will be an honest electrician - there are many out there but I'll be sure to remain at the job until it's completed and the customer is satisfied

We can provide remote advice but if a customer requires a new light fitting, or a socket then we will attend physically to get the job completed
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have all the relevant PPE on board and firstly ask customers what they are most comfortable with. Some customers like to wear masks while others don't. We keep our masks, wipes and santiniser in our possession at all times
Changing lights
We can assist in changing a light bulb or installing a brand new light. If you require assistance in choosing the right light from the shops we can help with this also. Some light fittings are better suited to some rooms than others. This is mainly due to either the number of bulbs or if the light fittings are rotational. You may even require two lights in a big room so we help our customers make the right choice
Adding sockets
We assist our customers with changing, adding or upgrading sockets. Sometimes customers want a more modern look and may want to change their existing sockets and sometimes they may want to add an additional socket to part of the room as there simply isn't enough. For any task like this we can assist our customer in doing so at their convenience
Smoke alarms
We fit smoke alarms for our customers. We encourage safety first and will give the best suggestions on where smoke alarms should be fitted. Battery operated smoke alarms are generally really basic and you need to ensure the batteries are always working. However we feel mains powered smoke alarms are best as these will remain on and they often have back up battery systems in case the mains power fails or trips. This is called a fail safe system which is best for your home
CCTV installation
We fit CCTV systems for our customers whether they want a single camera or multiple cameras. Depending on the location and direction they want the camera to face we can assist with installing these and testing each to ensure everything is running smoothly
Electrical Appliances
Whether you would like to install an electric shower, cooker, oven or dishwasher this is something we can help with. We help several of our customers install their kitchen or bathroom appliances in the best way possible and explain the isolation process in the event the customer needs to turn it off
