I had reservations about getting a personal trainer due to feeling anxious in a gym environment. From the first consultation Darren made me feel at ease. My confidence has grown so much in the few months Darren has been training me and I’m feeling the strongest and fittest I have in years, and have dropped 2 dress sizes as well! Darren sets me realistic goals but also pushes me out of my comfort zone to get the best out of me. Darren is supportive both in and out of sessions and provides nutrition coaching by sending out recipe packs each month. During sessions at the gym Darren is always ready to challenge me but will never push me further than he knows I can manage. The hour goes by very fast, as the sessions are a lot of fun and very motivating!
Darren is extremely organised and very reliable. He has made me my own programme to follow for the days when I am not training with him. When I first started training with Darren he sent me lots of his own materials to help me develop my knowledge on the importance of nutrition. He reads my food diaries every time I send them to him and gives me feedback each time about habits to change or to continue with. I have learnt so much about nutrition from Darren and for that I am truly thankful to him.

While I may not have overcome my weakness for cheese and wine, I have managed to leave behind my old coach potato lifestyle thanks to Darren's inspiring and (literally) stretching training sessions! Three times a week Darren puts me through my paces at Pulse in Carshalton, always varying the workouts and pushing me that little bit harder. I can honestly say he is the best fitness coach I have come across, positive in attitude yet disciplined in getting results from his clients. He is also incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of fitness. Previous male coaches were more interested in their body waxes and spray tans but with Darren the client always comes first. He also covers nutritional advice which is invaluable in maximining improvement. In addition to providing you with tailored and progressive training, ill will teach you the necessary skills required in the kitchen. Portion control, knowing what to eat, when to eat it and how to eat in the most effective manner for maximum fat loss! My goals is to give you the knowledge and skill to live a healthier lifestyle, both inside and outside the gym.
In order to guarantee your success, a personalised meal plan will be designed based on methods that have been scientifically proven to promote fat loss. Your progress will be monitored at regular intervals through the use of food diaries and bi weekly check ins.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

What inspired you to start your own business?
I began my career at David Lloyd when I was 18 years old! I felt that I gained everything I could from working in the big health clubs so it was time to build something for myself instead of working for others!
