Working with Danny was such a great experience. Not only did we focus of weight loss, Danny guided me through making lifestyle changes which meant I was still able to enjoy eating out and not restrict myself.

At a time where my mental and physical health slipped as a result of the pandemic, being online coached by Danny was exactly what I needed to regain my power of my health, fitness and most of all my mind.

Danny coached me for almost 10 months and he really opened my eyes to nutrition and showed me the importance of it for optimum health.

What I most liked about Danny is that he tapped into mind, really understood me as person and then used this to push and motivate me to get the best results.

His passion for fitness, value for health, his wealth of knowledge and him keeping it real with me really went a long way especially at times when I felt like giving up.

He deffo gave me that “parent vibe”, you know those to the point responses where you can’t talk back and have no choice but to listen and get the job done! Saying this he is a very approachable, friendly person who addressed any questions or queries quickly and created a safe space to communicate openly about anything.

It really worked cos I got some amazing results and I have learnt so much that I still implement his teachings into my training, health and life!

Danny Ly has been the best investment I have ever made in my life! He truly did change my life! Before I had Danny as my coach, I had just accepted that my life would be the way it is. And by life, meaning my health and fitness. I am in my mid 40’s and I felt like it was now too late to make any lifestyle changes because let’s face it, it’s just not going to happen. But I was wrong! If you change your mindset, anything is possible. And that is exactly what Danny helped me achieve. He coached me in every aspect. Changing my mindset by encouraging me and motivating me every week on the progress I was making and what my end goal is. Reminding me of why I’m doing what I’m doing even on the days where I felt like giving up. He coached me on nutrition, helping me make lifestyle changes that I still follow till this day. He didn’t give me another fad diet to follow for a few weeks, he helped me understand that I will have to eventually create me own meal plans, so he provided the tools to help me achieve that. I have learned so much about nutrition from Danny that I could have never learned on my own. He is a nutritionist, so believe me when I say that he knows his shit! Even though he was an on line coach, he still gave me some amazing feedback on my training routines. I would send him videos regularly, and he would comment on wether I’m doing the specific exercises right or wrong and how to correct it.
I had originally only committed to signing up for 3 months and said to myself, “let’s see how I get on”. Then I extended to 6 months and ended up staying with Danny with little over a year! It was hard to let go as I was still learning so much. He set me up for life. If you really want to see a difference, you have to give it at the least 6 months minimum. Big changes take time, you might or might not see results straight away. But that doesn’t mean it’s not working, you have to be committed 100% to everything your coach is advising you on, then only will you see changes. If anyone is looking for a health coach, and not just a PT, but an actually nutritionist, then Danny Ly is your man! We all know that nutrition is 80% for fat loss. Danny is an absolutely phenomenal trainer and fitness professional. I’ve worked with Danny for a few years now and have been astonished with my progress. I came to Danny with an inactive and unhealthy lifestyle and the desire to change. I lost around 15kg and hit personal milestones like completing my first half marathon and being able to execute 6 unassisted pull-ups. Nutritionists & Dietitians

Had to sign up for 3 months (as Danny said that was the minimum) and in that time, I was given 2 meal plans (day 1 and day 2) and 2 workouts to follow. So for the whole time, I ate the same 2 days of meals on rotate which got really boring and after asking, I was given the option to make my own meal plan using his spreadsheet, which wasn’t what I was hoping for as I’d paid for this service as I don’t have time to do any of that. I felt like the service was really impersonal and once I’d paid the money, I’m sorry to say that I felt like Danny didn’t care whether I achieved or failed. Essentially, I paid for a 2 day meal plan and a 2 day workout plan and that stayed the same for the whole 3 months. For me, it wasn’t worth the money.
I lost under 3kg in this time and felt like I’d wasted my money, which was a shame.

Hi Gemma, I'm really sorry to hear this is how you felt about your experience with Danny Ly Health. Given your unique living situation and bi-weekly travel plans, I really do feel that we had a hard time establishing a clear routine for you. Nonetheless, I made sure I kept in touch with you throughout the week with multiple touchpoints, despite not hearing back from you for multiple days frequently. I really don't think it's fair to say that I didn't care about your results because I certainly did! Meal plans are not inherently 'good' nor 'bad', but certainly given your personal circumstances, it made the most sense for you at the time. You faced pretty unique challenges which would've made it difficult for most people, so I encourage you to take everything that you've learned and keep chipping away as I know you can continue on and make further progress :)

Danny is great to work with. I am discovering a lot of bad habits and issues that I have had for years disappearing the further we go into the program. I am also gaining enough knowledge to be able to make informed decisions about my nutrition and health that I would have not been able to before. As a coach, Danny is approachable and understanding with some really niche issues unique to me, as well as being adamant that I learn rather than simply be given a set of instructions to follow (which I value a lot).
