I'm a professional food photographer and stylist with a background in advertising and a passion for producing memorable, mouth-watering food compositions. I've worked as a food stylist on campaigns for many national food retailers including M&S, Morrisons, Asda, Gregg, Birdseye, to name a few and provided photography services to a number of smaller independent and large food and drink businesses.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
With food and drink photography, it's all about the lighting, composition and capturing details. A little sauce drip, flakey crumbs, a condensation on a frosted glass. Details help tell a story that you want your viewers to see.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Where are these images being used? Often, people ask for imagery, but do not think about where they are using them. Will the end result need to be portrait, landscape or an extreme of these?
What 'look' do you want to achieve? It's always great to get people to share images they have seen and liked to help communicate the style of image they want.
What do you love most about your job?
The ability to craft and truly make images that entice and captivate.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had worked in the advertising industry for many years working with large national clients. However, I knew there were smaller companies that still wanted high end results, but couldn't afford the cost associated with marketing and advertising agencies.
I wanted to help create an option for food & beverage companies to be able to take advantage of my combined knowledge as a food stylist and photographer for a smaller more cost-effective price instead of paying for for multiple professionals.
Why should our clients choose you?
Working as a food stylist for large companies such as M&S, Morrisons, Kellogs to name a few and also having a strong knowledge and background with photography, I am uniquely positioned to ensure we get the best results for you.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, I am more than happy to work remotely from my studio. We would discuss the requirements of the shoot via phone/video call and email to ensure we know exactly what is required, then once on the shoot, I would send shots through (email or other) for approval before moving on.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
During this pandemic, I am offering more remote photography work. However, should location work still be required, I ensure all my equipment is wiped down before attendance and I will be wearing a mask for the duration and adhering to government guidance where ever possible.
