I recently took my newborn to Danielle to have a newborn shoot done. I wasn’t going to have professional pictures taken of Lyla, but after visiting Danielle, I’m so glad I did. Danielle was so patient, gentle and friendly to my family and I; we felt at ease straight away. She handled Lyla with such kindness, which as a first time mum I really appreciated. She talked us through the whole process, including all the training she had undertaken for newborn shoots and allowed us to pick colour schemes before talking us through different poses. Her studio is stunning and has such a luxurious feel to it. One of the best aspects of the shoot was the amount of time Danielle took to do the pictures. We had a 4 hour time slot, which at first I thought would be too long to have a newborn out of the house. However, it meant that Danielle didn’t rush a single shot and gave myself and Lyla lots of comfort breaks, which meant that we were always comfortable. Danielle made sure the studio was the perfect temperature so that Lyla was warm throughout the shoot. She gave us slippers to wear, had a film on, offered us a variety of different hot and cold drinks and had the comfiest sofa to relax on. My partner actually almost fell asleep on the sofa (newborn tiredness kicking in) 🙈 Danielle sent over the digital copies of Lyla’s shoot yesterday and I haven’t stopped looking at them since! They’re beautiful and I’m sure my whole family will cherish them forever! We will absolutely be returning for more pictures of Lyla throughout her childhood. 10/10 would recommend Danielle to anyone! I took my daughter to Danielle for a newborn photoshoot and she was the most lovely and patient girl ever! So caring and has a special touch with babies my daughter settled so well with her even though she was 9 weeks at the time and not as sleepy as she was when she was a newborn she managed to get the cutest pictures and even the sleepy poses which I wasn’t expecting honestly couldn’t recommend her enough 💗

We loved our photoshoot with Danielle. Her studio is stunning and she was extremely professional and friendly, making my little girl feel at home and allowing her to do her own thing in between taking the most beautiful photos. Danielle had a great rapport with both myself and my two year old daughter. I was nervous as it was my first experience at a photoshoot and was unsure if my little girl would play ball but we were put at ease straight away. The session was arranged to completely accommodate what sort of images we wanted and didn't feel rushed at all. We won the session through a Facebook competition and I can't believe how much we received for free (lots of digital images including additional ones Danielle added for free and a keep sake box with beautiful prints). What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
To listen to your clients needs. I have years of experience and have attended many workshops, courses and other first aid training courses to get to where I am now.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I send all my clients a questionnaire which asks the basics from what colour scheme to poses they have in mind. Its ok if not i am here to guide you through your session at ease.

What inspired you to start your own business?
i knew i was too creative to be restricted by working for someone else, i wanted to freedom of creativity and to share that with my clients
