I started training with Dan summer 2021. I was quite nervous initially but Dan made me feel at ease straight away. His vast knowledge and expertise give me great confidence in achieving my fitness goals. I have already noticed results and look forward to seeing more. Daniel and been amazing, for us as busy professionals and parents he has helped us immensely. Before we started training with Daniel we had no experience or understanding of working out. Dan was very clear on his programme from the start, and exactly what we were looking for. He is always on time, very personable and always answers questions quickly, being flexible where necessary on training times, given changing workloads and the pandemic. I found Daniel through this site just by chance.
Within 20 mins of me making an enquiry he called me and we made a super plan to achieve my objectives and since then haven’t looked back.
My husband has now joined my sessions as I couldn’t stop raving and we love the variety of exercises we are exposed to.
Each session has a warm up, exercise session, core session followed by cool down.
He tailors the sessions to your needs. The equipment he provides is great and we’re seeing results!

I did 8 weeks personal training with Daniel Long and I can’t recommend him high enough. The app he uses to monitor and track progress is so helpful and easy to use. Every session was tailor made for me and my needs, which allowed me to consistently push and challenge myself. I was very hesitant grabbing someone online without recommendation.

Now I truly enjoy working out with Dan.
Since I was new to the gym we focused on the form and made sure I learn how to workout safe.
As I get stronger Dan increases intensity, pushing me further towards my goals.

The purpose of a personal trainer is to provide a specific programme based on underpinning expert knowledge.

Each client has an initial consultation discussing barriers, objectives and goals in preparation to beginning training.

The barriers to achieving your goals are just as important, so we can identify these and look at ways at overcoming them.

It is my job to both advise and motivate you to maintain your full commitment to the programme and to continually adapt and progress your programme to keep you interested and focused on achieving your goals.

My years of experience has enabled me to know what works and what doesn't work. Unfortunately in the fitness world today, I see a lot of 'get fit quick' programmes, which promise to have you lean and in the best shape you have ever been in - in 2/4 weeks or less. These programmes ARE NOT sustainable. This is why I believe in sustainable fitness, that guarantees results after a realistic period of time, and then when that programme is over, you will have the knowledge & know-how to keep your results!

I have trained people from all different walks of life; new mums, body builders, stroke victims, pro athletes, dementia patients, celebrities and more!

I love meeting new people - you learn a lot from the people you meet.

My fitness journey began when I was 16 years old and overweight. I realised I needed to make a change, so I decided to sign up to a gym and start a fitness programme - and this is where I fell in love with training and all the elements surrounding it, such as; nutrition and mindset.

After having transformed the way I looked, I decided that I wanted to help other individuals similar to me and so this led to me becoming a personal trainer and launching Daniel Long Fitness. Since then, I have developed a true passion for helping clients transform the way they look and reach their desired goals - both online and in person - which in turn, has helped them to regain their confidence and feel better about themselves.

I don't just give you the training plans, nutritional guidance and then watch you struggle.

My aim is to have the biggest success rate of people getting in shape. I will show you exactly how to get in shape and keep yourself accountable so you never fail.

To ensure maximum safety, the following will apply:
~ A 2m distance will be kept between us at all times
~ Hands must be sanitised at the start of the session before touching any equipment
~ Masks won't be necessary, as we will be distanced but if you would feel more comfortable wearing one, please feel free!

I will be sanitising all equipment between each client and doing a deep clean each evening.
