Haley came to shoot the PMR@Toachim_House women track team during a training session at the Velodrome. Everyone immediately felt at ease with Haley who seemed to be everywhere and yet never in the way of what can be an intense environment. This was the last session before we headed off to complete in the National Masters so emotions were running high. Somehow Haley managed to get everyone smiling and captured not only the essence of track riding but also the spirit of the team. In fact the resulting images were so good that during the British Cycling awards dinner for all national and world champions these images were used on a constant loop on the big screen. Haley has regularly taken pictures of my 7 year old son, she always manages to show his cheeky personality which is hard to do as he never stops still. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Getting my client/subject to feel comfortable with me as the photographer. I know how hard it can be to preform under pressure and feeling like everything you are doing in front of my camera is silly. But don't worry, we will have a good laugh and I will capture you looking and feeling your best :)
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Portraits: How do you see yourself? Are you serious, funny, sweet etc.?
Weddings: How many hours do you require? Do you want traditional after ceremony group shots? If there is anything specific or out of the ordinary you want captured please tell me before the shoot.
What do you love most about your job?
Capturing people on camera. I love that every job is always different and I get to meet and work with new and interesting people. I find it a fun challenge being on location shooting because there are always obstacles and I am a quick problem solver. No, is never my answer unless you want me to photograph your wedding while sky diving!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love what I do and have been in love with photography since I was 15....that was a while ago!

I would like you to choose to work with me for your next project because I am going to give you an awesome shoot and I never do anything that I would not be proud of. I don't believe in producing mediocre work. I am a very out going individual and photographer. I am from New York City and grew up all over the USA and a couple other countries. Covering: Ceremony, Bridal Preparations, Family and Wedding party, Reception, Cake cutting and First Dance
£50/hr up to 8 hrs (£75/hr after 8hrs)
Image editing and processing £50/hr
Portrait Photography
Portrait sessions are £50/hr with a 2 hour minimum booking
(if studio is required that will be an additional cost)
