I booked Dan to take photos at a staff awards event and he was brilliant. We had a chat beforehand outlining what was required and on the day he arrived early to get a feel of the venue set up. Dan recently managed a session of corporate lifestyle shots for the professional society I work for. These focused on a professional training course. We gave Dan a basic brief and some examples of similar photos that we liked and Dan really expanded on this! He took control of the shoot on the day, making himself known to the delegates and explaining permissions, etc, but without casing any disruption to the course or their learning. He also ensured the environment stayed as natural as possible. We are delighted with the images that Dan achieved. The photos actually surpassed our basic brief - the shots have captured a professional, well-organised learning environment while also portraying engagement, interaction, warmth and enjoyment. We couldn't have asked for more!Dan also had to battle with lots of light exposure in our recently refurbished premises and he turned this into an opportunity, working with the light to create some fantastic results.Would have no hesitation in recommending Dan for similar projects and it's likely we'll be working with him again in the not too distant future! Dan photographed our wedding at the end of May 2011. His relaxed and super friendly style is excellent for weddings and really puts you at ease. He came along to our church rehearsal which really helped as our Priest was quite particular about where and when photos could be taken. They fit seamlessly into our wedding day and did an excellent job, capturing both the spirit of the day and the little intimate moments that made the whole experience so magical.
