What do you love most about your job?
The collaborative environment which allows us to share the same vision as our clients is special. Seeing the process of a design concept grow into a space that our clients enjoy is very fulfilling. The work environment is very dynamic and always evolving, every project is unique, and it is a constant adventure.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I noticed that the quality of structural design for the residential sector especially could be alot better. I had interactions with a few builders and they all seem to have the same challenge; they have to wait several weeks and in some cases months for information from structural engineers which is often light on clarity and detail. We decided to do something about it!

Cyrus Structures provides full design calculations and drawings for new build properties. We have experience in traditional masonry construction as well as steel and timber frame construction from small domestic buildings to large blocks of flats.
Double and Single Storey Extensions
We specialise in providing calculations for small scale internal alterations and extensions. Cyrus Structures has in depth knowledge of the current Building Regulations and we provide documentation that is required by Building Control for approvals.
