What do you love most about your job?
‘My greatest sense of gratification has always been derived from inspiring, motivating and guiding others to realise their full potentials.’
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a ‘People’ professional, I’ve enjoyed (and continue to enjoy) a long and varied career working with people at all stages of their working lives from senior professionals, mid-managers, new jobseekers and workplace returners.
With a career spanning 35 years I have an in-depth knowledge and experience of working, largely at the ‘coalface’ of recruitment and retention, talent management (Headhunting), learning & development and coaching & mentoring. As a result I have regularly been invited to speak at career events, educational and business forums as well as to write for a number of publications to offer my insights into the recruitment and retention sector and provide advice and guidance to organisations on candidate selection.
I soon realised that with this wealth of experience I could equally help 'candidates' navigate their way through the jobs market by offering them expert career coaching, teach motivational techniques and some tricks of the trade so to speak to those seeking work or advancement opportunities. This was my motivation to launch CV4U.
