Catering

Provided a wonderful barbecue for over 40 people with great food and very professional friendly service. Arrived in good time, cooked and served food and cleared everything away. Just what the hosts want.

Great steakhouse good atmosphere plenty of seating with attentive staff.

Good selection of steaks and burgers cooked over a wood burning grill great smell in the restaurant also there is a pit oven for bbq brisket and ribs.

The restaurant is freshly renewed. It is in new Mexican grill bar style. There is a lot of drinks choice - alcoholic and non alcoholic. Food menu presents with a choice of burgers - beef, chicken or vegetarian. There is also steak choice, where you can add some oz. to the size of your steak as all of it is cut and freshly made on the spot, no frozen stuff. After a meal you can have one of desserts from the menu. There is also kids menu with plenty of choice, so you can go with your children. We've been there yesterday and ordered steaks with chunky chips and sides. To be honest I think it was one of the best steaks I eat so far - I asked for a medium and I did get a perfect medium. Chips were delicious as well. We did not expect that to be honest. They are also serving breakfast in the morning, so we are going to try that one day. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this place to anyone. The best time to go is either Thursday, Friday or Saturday as it is open till 21.30, other days just till 15.00. More...

Great greasy cafe for a big fry up. Recently had a refurb too so looks good, clean and fresh. They have a huge choice of breakfast items and are all cooked well. Aswell as other items for lunch. Prices are ok... could be better but for a motorway stop it's reasonable. Plus it is next door to a petrol station, which has a cash machine so that's handy and has toilets also. More...

I've been calling into The Rooster when I have been travelling north up the m6 for many years now. My usual is always one of the Roosters breakfasts. This is without a doubt one of the best Full Englishes you will get and worthy of the price charged. They have a choice of breakfast sizes, but don't be greedy as they are filling.
The place its self is a lovey no thrills establishment but clean and modern and the staff always seem nice, but are always busy so little time to talk. Another thing I have noticed is the staff seem to be the same faces over the years even that I only call in 3 to 4 times a year. Only downside is parking which is limited and not suitable for larger vehicles. solid 9 out of 10.

Excellent breakfast. Can get crowded at times if a rugby league team turn up on a Saturday morning. Good fun though.

We stopped off here on the way to Scotland as we wanted a quick bite. Don't be put off by the confusing , but ample parking and garage forecourt look to the entrance. The food is great value cafe food, really well cooked grill. No plastic sausages in sight.

The best part is the really friendly service, which was great. I messed up my drinks order and they offered to change it with no fuss.

If you want to avoid the services crush and don't want a long wait, this is the place to stop A66/M6
