There's a good selection of equipment but there are only safety bars in one squat rack. In such a busy gym it means you're always waiting for that one squat rack.

Great place to start training only thing is it gets busy and other users hog the gym equipment from about 17:00 - 00:00 before that time you do get a chance to use equipment but still busy

The classes are well worth it, if you’re looking for all over workouts. Gym equipment is also good and if you need an extra push I recommend PTs too. Helpful and friendly staff.

I was visiting Leicester for a couple of days so I used this gym twice. It was really busy in the evening and kind of busy in the morning at 6 am, but on both visits I got everything done that I needed to. I spoke to a few people when waiting to get on machines or gather plates for the rack and everyone was nice and polite. My issue, and this is somewhat specific to the type of training you do, is there are no catchers on the half racks or on the bench press rigs. There is only one full squat rack, with catchers. For me, training solo and training to failure, that was a safety issue. There’s also advertisements on the mirror in front of the squat rack that blocked me from checking my thighs were parallel at the bottom of the squat. So they made the mirror totally pointless other than being able to see my ugly straining face. I would go again, if visiting Leicester again. Machines were all clean and look well maintained. Good value for money. 3.5 stars, but that’s not an option to select. It’s not a 5 star gym, it’s a place to get things done, which in itself is not a bad thing. Lost half a mark for the lack of catchers and the annoyingly placed advertising that rendered the mirror unhelpful for lifting. More...

What inspired you to start your own business?
Being a dancer and dance teacher for over 25 years, I have had to look after myself. Exercising regularly has been a huge part of my career and my life. My interest in the body was enhanced through my studies as a medical technician. Creating Afro-Fitness dance classes drove me to become a PT and Fitness Instructor.

I have hand sanitiser and mask. Ventilate room and I still keep the social distancing.

Focusing on your core and balance improves overall strength and gets your body ready for more advanced exercise.
During each movement, different parts of the body take turns playing the role of stabiliser and mover, allowing smooth movements to be executed without compromising balance and stability.
