Contacted Chris at CSM as could not open double glazed door, polite professional company who came out got door opened and replaced broken door dead lock, gave me a price on phone before he came out and was no more than he quoted, would use again and would highly recommend his services to anyone.

Very reliable, polite, and high spirited locksmith. Chris was the first and last person I called when my mum locked herself out of her house. His telephone manner was friendly and approachable, and he was able to come out within an hour. His prices are really reasonable, with discounts for over 65’s and he confirmed there would be no hidden extras once he arrived. He ended up fitting a new lock at no extra cost. Chris was brilliant from start to finish. Answered as soon as I rang, was at another job but kept me informed all the way through wen he could get to us, was on his way etc.

Identified problem quickly and efficiently, explained it thoroughly and let me know of price upfront before any work took place.

Chris is highly recommended. I contacted him at 8.45am due to being locked out of my house as the door handle was spinning 360 degrees. Chris already had jobs booked in for the morning but when I explained my partner was pregnant and we needed to get in ASAP he treated us a priority. As we were on the way to a doctors appointment when I rang him he arranged to meet us as soon as we got back to the house and by 10.30am he got us back into our property. The ultimate test for a locksmith: can they pick the lock? CSM Security has that covered. AND they arrived within 10 minutes and had the house door unlocked after 20. (It would have been faster but our front door is a super security lock, so he had to jump the fence and make quick work on the equally tricky back door.) Chris came out straight away to help with a key stuck in a french door. He arrived when he said he would and carried out the job to a high standard. He is really friendly and happy to explain what he's doing/why it needs doing, so that you understand what you are paying for. I needed a particular lock that Chris didn't have on him, but he was happy to drive out to get one, and returned within half hour to complete the job. The service from CSM was amazing. I called Chris and explained my situation, he turned up straight away and did an amazing job with changing 3 of my locks. He even oiled my other doors so that the locks don't sieve up or continue to stick.
I got quotes from other Locksmiths and CSM was by far the cheapest. He is the cheapest and the best service. He even helped me move a cabinet from the car into the house.
He was friendly, tidy, efficient and shared his knowledge by showing me how to adjust my door if the locking mechanism sticks.
