A typical day consisted of caring for animals needs and completing reporting forms to the owners. The hardest part was when an animal passed away or my services where no longer needed. My most enjoyable part was caring for the animals and meeting a variety of animals with many different personalities.Pros caring for animalsCons when an animal passed or my services were no longer needed. Becca has looked after my cat while I'm on holiday on numerous occasions. As well as feeding my cat, letting him in and out and cleaning up after him she spends some time giving him some fuss so he doesn't get lonely. So nice not having to worry about my pet while I'm away as he is in good hands. More...

Rebecca has just finished a 4 day house sit for us looking after our three dogs. This is the first time we had used "Critter Sitters" and we would have no hesitation in recommending her to others, or providing a reference for her. She is a delightful person and our dogs took to her immediately. When we returned, the house was immaculate and the dogs looked as if they had been on holiday too. Thank you Rebecca - you did a great job. More...

I really needed a dog walker a few days ago as the walker I had planned cancelled on me. It really annoyed me but Rebecca made me feel better and was able to come round within short notice.
She was very polite and took my dog for an hours walk. He was exhausted! I will now be using Critter Sitters as my full time pet sitter from now on for walking and hopefully for my holidays.
Very lovely girl who clearly takes pride in what she does. Excellent service, could not fault it.

I would like to say thank you for taking out our Coco today! She's a pup full of energy and can always tell when she's had a fun walk. Coming back home after a whole day at work and she's snoring away after her adventures! Gives me a peace of mind knowing she's in good hands and having fun when we are at work! Have been using Critter Sitters regularly for some time now, to take care of our three cats whenever we are on holiday. A very reliable service and much easier on both the cats and us not to have to take them to a cattery. All three cats - even the fussiest - enjoy the care and attention they get. Would recommend Critter Sitters every time. More...

Rebecca is just the person you need to look after your pets and home while on holiday.
I have used Rebecca's (Critter Sitters) services twice in 1 month and she has looked after my 2 cats and 4 chickens, my home and garden, to purrfection.
She is totally trustworthy and reliable, having stayed in my home on both occasions and leaving it immaculate.
First time round, one of my cats had got into a scrap the night before and Rebecca came to the vet with me so that she could take on any medication requirements in my absence, as well as handle a couple of domestic issues. No problem, all sorted by the time I came home 7 days later.

What do you love most about your job?
Being with animals all day, I love getting to know them all and building up a good relationship with them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember and their welfare has always been of upmost importance to me.
As as soon as I turned 14 years old I began volunteering at local animal charities and have continued to do so in my spare time. Through this volunteering I was awarded 'The Queens Award For Voluntary Service'.
I have successfully completed both, a pet sitting and a pet first aid course. I also have diplomas in animal care and feline behaviour and psychology.
Having personally found it difficult to find someone to look after my own animals to the standard I do, I figured there must be a market for this. My father gave me the final push I needed to begin 'Critter Sitters'.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am very passionate about what I do. I am insured, DBS checked and qualified. I take every job very seriously.
