I can’t rate Crea Pax highly enough for the help and guidance I received enabling me to see my way out of a very difficult time in my life.
The relaxed friendly atmosphere was very calming and Martha is fantastic, so open and encouraging. It’s actually more like chatting with a friend.
Definitely highly recommended

Q&As

I love working alongside my amazing heard of alpacas and sharing them with amazing women who come to recognise their own value. Our Centre may be small but I enjoy providing a quiet oasis from the craziness of modern life, where women can slow down, be thoughtful and introspective, feel and let their guard down, and be accepted for who they are while still challenged to work and change in healthy ways.

Having qualified with a degree in counselling, I was fortunate enough to work with lots of people delivering counselling in nature. I decided to start my own business so I could focus on this side of counselling as I’ve seen how important it is to individuals who struggle to fit in to ‘traditional’ counselling. Alpaca-assisted Ecotherapy is unique and it’s something I feel privileged to be able to share with people in the UK.

What we offer is unique. A qualified and experienced counsellor with the added benefit of counselling sessions being held outside in nature with the assistance of our alpacas.

Online sessions are available as part of the treatment plan if required; this would be discussed during the pre-assessment. We would always welcome some face-to-face sessions in order to work alongside our Alpacas as part of the process.

We are able to offer online counselling. Face-to-face sessions are held outside and hand washing, masks & space are offered based on what the client requires and the government guidelines stipulate.

Services

One-to-one 50 minute session based at our centre in Wiltshire. Assisted by our herd of alpacas, our person-centred talking therapy sessions are ideal for females aged 12+ who are seeking mental health support for anxiety, depression and/or substance misuse.

Due to the hands on nature of these sessions, this will not be ideal for everyone and a free 30 minute pre-assessment will be given to determine if this is a suitable programme for you.

We do not take on lots of clients due to ensuring that our alpacas have plenty of time to relax and we are able to fully support the clients.

Our 6 week group programme consists of attending our centre for three hours once a week for six weeks. Assisted by our herd of alpacas, our six week programme has been designed to support a small group of 4 females aged 12-17years, 18-65 and 65+. During the programme, as a group, we work through a variety of activities using a person-centred approach to help clients seeking mental health support for anxiety, depression and/or substance misuse.

Due to the hands on nature of these sessions, this will not be ideal for everyone and a free 30 minute pre-assessment will be given to determine if this is a suitable programme for you.

We do not take on large groups due to ensuring that our alpacas have plenty of time to relax and we are able to fully support the each group member in a safe environment.
