What do you love most about your job?
After a varied career in retail management, and later creating and running my hospitality business - I recognised that there is no better feeling, in whatever context, than supporting a person with an approach rooted in warmth and compassion to regain their self-confidence and grow, whilst working alongside their pain, feelings and journeys.
What inspired you to start your own business?
With my background in Psychology (BSC HONS), a love for all things 'people' orientated and a want to make meaning from my own trauma; 3 years ago I went back to University to follow a passion of wanting to make what comes naturally to me a lifelong career as a Counsellor.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
The last few years have been quite something and has shaken society as we know it. I have learnt to see the value in working online and am now only offering remote sessions via Zoom.
Counselling 60 minute session
Person Centred therapy is a working relationship – not dependent on medical diagnosis but can help with all conditions. It uniquely puts you, the client, at the heart of the process. There are no judgements, no interpretation, and no one size fits all approach, the questions, and answers come from within you. I believe that this unique relationship between the therapist and client, enables the opening up of new and healthier ways of moving forward with your goals; and my goal is to work to your pace, in a gentle and empathic way and provide a compassionate approach rooted in warmth and care.
