What do you love most about your job?
* Supporting people through their counselling journey
* When they truly discover they are unique and it is perfectly okay to love themselves
* When they understand it is perfectly okay to look after their own needs first
What inspired you to start your own business?
I founded UK 8020 CIC, a social enterprise and not for profit community interest company, back in 2007 on the premise of humanitarian projects which include local community well-being and mental health initiatives. You can check out what we do on our parent site at UK8020.org
Why should our clients choose you?
Choice is an integral part of having free will. I encourage my clients to make their own decisions. I do not tell them what to do as I believe all human beings are capable of making their own choices. Making their own decision to see a counsellor is also symbolic of a client’s autonomy, a choice to empower themselves and the first significant step in forming a therapeutic relationship with their chosen private counsellor.
A client will know instinctively when they have chosen the appropriate counsellor for them.
