Here at Core Event Hire (Oxford) we cater for events that require a simple party package including disco/club lights and speaker hire.
We can also offer dancefloors, special effects and stage hire.
If you require a delivery/collection service and our technicians to set up this can be added to your hire/package.

We had our Wheatley Rugby Club Summer Ball at the weekend and Chris organised the disco lighting and the marquee lighting for us. I had a vague idea about fairy lights which he designed for us and he and his team came and set up for us. I left it entirely to him as we had used his company before and knew we could rely on him. The effects were brilliant - I was soooo pleased! He took down the lighting and took it all away on Sunday morning as promised. We were very impressed with his service, and at a very reasonable cost. With a very vague outline of what we were after Chris guided us through the lighting options and managed to help us to exceed the effect we were originally after. Absolutely first class! Chris and Olly managed to transform our bare, run down marquee into an inviting, charming place for our Great Gatsby Ball. Chris worked alongside us helping with ideas and suggestions and was on hand for site visits and available to talk through the plans whenever we needed. I had been looking for some time for a company which could design me a new professional looking and original website for my personal training company. I spoke to other companies over the phone and did my best to explain what I was looking for. I'm no noob, but trying to explain to a graphic designer how you want something as complicated as a multiple page website to look is a challenging experience. All I really knew is that I wanted it to be clean and simple to navigate, and with sound SEO to make sure I ranked well on Google. My biggest frustration was trying to get a price; most were woolly at best on let's face it, the most important factor second only to the quality of the finished product. By the time I contacted OWServices, I was pretty much at the end of my rope, and getting nowhere with two or three companies who were asking in excess of £2000 for something which I felt wasn't particularly complicated. OWS were so helpful, it was a breath of fresh air dealing with them. They listened to what I wanted, as best as I could explain it, and offered plenty of advice, before the meter started ticking! In fact as far as the price was concerned, they were always clear throughout the process. I can't recommend OWS enough. What inspired you to start your own business?
Always had an interest in lighting and sound systems, started out as a mobile disco at the age of 15 with a friend.

You're welcome to self collect and dry hire your equipment packages or we offer a Delivery/Collection service and Set-Up/De-Rig the equipment for you if required.
