I am a Certified Passivhaus Consultant specialising in the planning of low-energy retrofit (to at least AECB Retrofit Standard, or better). What I am not, is a contractor who installs piecemeal improvements. You should only contact me if you are looking at multiple improvements in order to achieve a low-energy building with reduced energy demand and increased comfort (even if done in phases).

Planning deep retrofit properly involves the following:
- Site survey to get data for the energy model (e.g. plans/elevations, geometry of junctions)
- Inputting data to energy model in order to determine what should be done to reach the required target energy standard (e.g. determining correct u-values for the different elements)
- Considering alongside all this the moisture risk issues
- Liaising with other professionals to get the ventilation and heating/hot water design done
- Doing thermal bridge modelling for junctions to minimise heat loss and condensation risk
- Creating a work sequence for what should be done before something else
- Liaising with potential contractors to help them understand the specification
