A simple accident of turning awkwardly while reaching up gave Dandy my Long Haired Miniature Dachshund a Herniated Disc leaving him unable to stand or use his back legs. Shortly after this when clearly rest would not restore his mobility I started Hydrotherapy for him at Clippers & dippers, initially twice weekly.His swims were clearly building up strength in his shoulders & in his general well being & when he also had a trolley this had helped him to be able to take to it immediately & become independent. All this happened 5 1/2 years ago, Dandy has continued swimming once a week, he clearly enjoys the freedom it gives him & loves playing in the jets, he is also interested in the other dogs that come in for grooming. watching everything else that takes place.Dandy is a very happy little boy who clearly enjoys his life . I can really recommend hydrotherapy & clipper & dippers have played a major part in his well being over this period. More...

We have been taking our dogs swimming at Clippers and Dippers for the last 18 years, initially for therapeutic reasons with our first Labradors and then just for fun with out latest pair. We can thoroughly recommend it. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful and there is always a cup of tea on offer. More...

Over the last 14 years we have taken 3 and up to 6 of our Rottweiler every Saturday for their 30 minute swims keeping them fit and muscled up thus saving unnecessary Vet bills not to mention the excellent help and advice we have received.

booked my bullmastiff in after being turned down at 3 other groomers that just say they don't do big dogs! ( in the wrong job me thinks) zen my dog was a big baby cause he had never been before so my partner stayed with him I had no problems when booking even booked via email, he was shampooed and nail clipped they did a super job and they really are nice people I would not go anywhere else now would recommend to anyone!

Went here for the first time today, we were on holiday visiting family. Very friendly and great price. We have a bichon frise and they did an excellent cut, they even did his ears for me and they were very hairy and I have to say he looks amazing! ! Very impressed and highly recommend! The shop is small and dark and I was quite worried when I first took my dog in. However, the lady was friendly and professional and did a fantastic job of my Spaniel, who's hair was incredibly long and knotty, he now looks neat and pretty and seemed calm and happy when I went to pick him up. Would definitely go again.
