Tree felling is the process of cutting down a tree in its entirety from the ground.

There are a number of reasons you may need a tree near your property removed – it may have been damaged in bad weather and become a hazard or simply for aesthetic reasons such as the tree blocking natural light.

Crown Lifting is the process of removing or reducing lower limbs to raise the lower canopy of the tree. Doing so can allow more light as you are removing the limbs which are causing an obstruction.

Thinning is where we will remove selective branches throughout the crown to remove density without reducing the size of the tree. This will reduce wind sail and again allow more light through. We also offer a reduction service where we’re able to reduce the tree in its entirety to improve its form.

Pruning a tree is a vital part of its health, by removing selected parts, it improves the tree’s growth and fruiting abilities. The reduction side of things can allow the tree to improve its form by reducing the tree in its entirety.

This service is useful for those who may have a tree that is suffering from irregular growth patterns or having difficulty in fruiting during peak seasons.

Sectional removal is the process of removing a tree by section, this could be down to the tree being too big to fell or because of the environment, felling isn’t an option. The pollarding procedure is a pruning system involving the upper branches of a tree, which then encourages the tree to regrow with more density.

Some hedges are simply too big to tackle by yourself. Whether the job is to trim the top and sides down to a more presentable appearance or reshape the hedge, Climbing High Tree Care Ltd are able to assist your needs.

Once completed, all trimmings will be carefully disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner, leaving your property and landscape looking their best.

For the first few years, until fruiting begins, the aim of pruning a fruit tree is to develop the shape to get ready for when it does begin growing. Knowing how to maintain a fruit tree can be daunting for many and if done wrong can stunt the tree’s growth.
