10th May 2019. New Drive. Grove Road, Horbury, Wakefield.I identified Dave Clark Driveway Resurfacing. I did so, even though an 'unusual' review is posted on Yell. (I could see it was out of character because all other reviews are positive). I invited Dave to visit me, see the job and price it. He gave advice on the best method of working. I was impressed with his experience and after receiving his written and very competitive fixed price quote, I placed my order. The work was completed quickly, on time and to my entire satisfaction. Briefly, the old tarmac surface was taken up and disposed of, old tree roots were removed, the sub level was rollered and consolidated, brickwork edging was laid to new levels and drain covers reset to match. Finally a thick coating of tarmacadam was laid in 2 stage layers.I am now the proud owner of a first class drive that looks great.If you are considering a new drive I suggest that you give Dave Clark an opportunity to quote.Phil Johnson. Dave and the guys prepared, laid base and finished top surface tarmac for a 5 car parking area including white lines and edgings. They also repaired several parts of the lane leading to the parking area. They did an excellent job and at a reasonable price. I had a kerb lowered and drive dug out and replaced. I cannot fault Dave and his team both for the quality of the work and the time taken to do it. They worked hard in the hot weather and finished in less than a day and a half. My drive looks lovely, fully edged and lovely and smooth. Price also very reasonable as well.
