It’s not a home from home at Clare and Neil’s, it’s a home better than home! My 3 dogs go regularly to stay and they can’t get in the house quick enough, and they never look like they want to leave when I come to collect them! They absolutely love their time with Clare and Neil, they are treated like royalty and I can honestly say there’s no place I’d rather my dogs be than with them. I know they’re always having the best time, with the best possible dog carers your could ever wish for! It’s the small touches that go a long way, and the way they think of everything your dog could possibly want or need are the bits that make it special. And the daily updates that let you know exactly what fun your dogs are getting up to go such a long way to put your mind at rest that they are happy and settled. Clare and Neil are absolutely wonderful people who care and love all the dogs that they look after .
Both Barney and Freddie love going there, the only issue we have is we only live around the corner from Clare , so we cannot walk them in that direction as they go bonkers as they know where Clare lives lol !!!

Tilly & Toby had a wonderful stay at Clare's Hotel for dogs. We were quite apprehensive about leaving them but we had a pre-holiday visit & Clare put our minds at rest straightaway, she was able to answer all our questions whilst the dogs explored the house and garden. They had plenty of fresh air, exercise, cuddles & love whilst we were away and we came home to two worn out and happy pooches! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Clare's Hotel for Dogs to anyone and will definitely be using her services again very soon. More...

Wow..What a wonderful lady Clare is...
She looked after my two yorkies for a week recently and spoilt them and loved them like her own.

It was the first time i had left them and what a wonderful place for them to stay..She completely put my mind at rest with daily updates to let me know how they were and what they had been up too..Needless to say they had a brill time..
Will definitely be using her proffessional service again and again.

Sid my 5 month old bulldog has been to stay with Clare and Neil for 10 nights , cannot recommend these 2 enough ..friendly and helpful, regular updates and instant replies for peace of mind .
The garden is fantastic . I will be booking again next year . They give advice Aswell as put the dogs first .

Clare is amazing and I couldn't recommend her highly enough. She looks after my two dogs Bentley and Sabine, prior to meeting Clare my husband and I could not walk the dogs off of their leads.
Within the space of less than two days, Clare had them both out for lovely walks off of the lead. Clare has given us the confidence and knowledge to safely walk them on our own.

Excellent service! We felt welcome and comfortable right away but more importantly so did our puppy Rocco. The garden is a dogs dream and knowing Rocco was in such good hands with Clare and Neil it allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday. We were always updated on Facebook of their walks and activities which was very pleasing to see. I highly recommend Clare's Hotel For Dogs! We can now book our holidays knowing Rocco will be well cared for while we are away. 10/10 from the Smiths and Rocco! More...

Leaving your dog/s with Clare and Neil is the best decision you could make. They had Luna for 2 weeks while we went away and several times a day there were photo or video updates as to what she was up to. She had an absolute ball and we were able to totally relax knowing she was in fantastic hands and being so well cared for. As she is only 5 months old I did worry about leaving her but after dropping her off and having a voice call and videos of how she was settling in sent to me within a few hours, all the worries went away. Can't thank them enough and wouldn't hesitate to leave either or both dogs with them in the future. More...

Picked up my girls after a week with Clare & Neil and they slept solidly for 24 hours! They had so much fun and I don’t think they stopped playing the whole week they were there. Thank you very much to Clare and Neil for having our Roary, he has come home after 11 days with them and he is a perfectly happy chappy.
Looking at the photo's on the fb page he has had a fabulous time mixing with loads of other dogs and made some good friends. Clare has also given us plenty of good advice with him and has taken his training a step further, where we thought we had reached his limitations Clare has proven us wrong. Absolutely fabulous personal service!!!

My dog (Lucy) loved staying with Clare. I hated leaving her to go on holiday, she was a rescue dog who gets very nervous around new people as she was abused as a puppy, when I came to pick her up after 6 days she was happily settled Clare's home and didn't seem eager to leave. Clare sent me daily updates on how she was getting on (via wattsapp). There were two other dogs staying with Clare, they were both lovely and Lucy loved playing with them. Will be using Clare again, I liked how much personal attention she received as at times she needs a lot of reassurance. More...

What do you love most about your job?
I love wet and windy walks and seeing our dogs having fun.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having owned 3 dogs of my own and fostered numerous others I wanted to make it into a full time occupation.
Why should our clients choose you?
We treat your dog's with care and compassion and no request no matter how small we can cater for.
Dog walking
An hours walking is £10. We do not include travelling time in that hour so your dog has a full hours walk.
