Hypnotherapy is a safe and effective way of removing unhelpful beliefs about ourselves or situations that can cause anxiety and fear. Neuroplasticity is the ability of the brain to re-wire itself and is a powerful tool that can be used to strengthen neural-connections or create new neural pathways. The brain is constantly changing and creating these pathways as a reaction to thoughts, emotions and experiences and I use techniques to establish a helpful, positive mindset. Once our automatic thoughts become, and have the self belief to overcome challenges, cope and succeed and the part of the brain that releases the anxiety inducing hormone stops getting triggered in the same way. I used methods on myself during treatment and have recently completed training to work with cancer patients too.

Just some of the areas I work with are: fears and phobias, anxiety, weight loss, motivation, sports performance, poor sleep, overthinking, self esteem and low mood, social skills, driving anxiety, confidence, overcoming negative, public speaking, trauma, negative thinking and limiting beliefs, general stress, body image, eating habits and improving mindset….
My interventions intend to establish a feeling of balance, control and optimism in every day life instead of feeling everything is out of control. Positive thoughts create positive behaviour. The beauty of hypnotherapy is that these thoughts can become more automatic.
I have an enhanced DBS certificate, specific hypnotherapy training for supporting children and teenagers, additional certification in working with anxiety specifically and a safe guarding qualification at level 3.

I’m based in West End and Hiltingbury.
