We left Smudge with Claire for a bit when my husband and I went for a holiday. Smudge loved Claire’s company. He was well fed and looked after. Smudge is a very lively dog and Claire seems to match his energy levels. She made sure she sent us pictures of Smudge everyday while we were away. More...

What do you love most about your job?
I just need to need to be around animals, particularly dogs and cats. Anyone who knows me would agree.
I am also an outdoor person. Being outside, be it an amble or my weekly park run on the front, just feels wrong without a furry friend somehow!
What inspired you to start your own business?
After I lost my dog I missed the interaction I started walking dogs for those who couldn't get out during lockdown. Over time, this turned into a few loyal regular clients. We have since moved to Brighton and I miss my dog fix. I have the experience now so am looking to start up again here.
Why should our clients choose you?
For me this is not just a business, this is what I love to do. I think that shines through. I know how much you love your pets and take the responsiblity of caring for them very seriously. I offer a bespoke service;placing importance to get to know you, what you and your dogs prefererences are. Instead of dealing with a faceless company and a differenc dog walker every day, you and your dog get continuity of the same friendly face every time.
