I do like city cabs they do their best to be prompt and prices are reasonable but feel the drivers could do with some sensitivity training. It's not nice to be told working 3.5 hours a day is 'not even working' and asked if I even get anything done in that time when I am visibly disabled and cannot physically work anymore even though I would love to. And then to be told other people have it worse off too was the icing on the cake. Really made me feel crappy about myself and wasn't a nice start to my working day (I had to get a taxi to work today because of the amount of pain I was in and couldn't face public transport which means I basically worked for free after paying for the taxi but I would rather work for free than not at all). Our Lady driver was very couteous and helpful last night, I could not reccomend them more. After visiting the Mercat vaults tour with my 73 year old grandmother as her Birthday treat we tried to get a taxi back to our hotel. The first three taxi drivers in the rank (belonging to another franchise) refused to drive us the the 0.8 miles to the Novotel centre as the distance was too short, it was raining with strong windchill. I have never experienced a taxi driver refuse the custom of two sober respectable passengers before. The Lady driver was the fourth in the rank, she took us back to the novotel, she turned our negative experience into a positive outcome. Thank you for your help that night. More...

My husband and I were visiting Scotland this weekend (Christmas weekend) and used this taxi service about 4 different times. They are reasonably priced and very quick. Our taxis always arrived within 2-5 minutes. We had a different driver each time and all of them were very kind. Aside from the great service and cheap prices, the taxi service sends you a text confirming your ride and tells you who your driver is and provides a picture of them, lets you track your driver, tells you the make, model, & registration number of the vehicle the driver will be picking you up in, and they also ring you when they are pulling up to your location.
