you turn left and a few minutes by Trafalgar Square! You turn right and you can cross the bridge to Waterloo. This is the best location and we stayed in the deluxe studio room and the furnishings were excellent here. Expensive but worth it

This is my 2nd time staying at the hotel. Much better after the renov and the room was very spacious (despite narrow corridor). Staff was very efficient but rather cold. Location is great and easy access to the subway/train and buses. Coffee is available 24hour at the lobby which makes it convenient for us. Location is very strategic, close to London's attractions. Near underground station and a train station. The room is big with all the facilities I needed. ||One thing that requires upgrade is the airconditioner/heater. The control panel on the wall does not work easily. The hotel is conveniently located close to the London Eye and Big Ben. One thing you should be aware is that this is not a normal hotel where they clean your room every day or change your towels. (Unless you request it.) One thing I would recommend is for the hotel to at least come and empty the trash cans as they can get pretty full within two days. This was a great hotel with access to local tourist attractions at your door step, staff were friendly, rooms was clean with a full working kitchen however . .. it would be great if the team, as a gesture of goodwill mentioned to me as their paying guest about the Ultra Low Emission Zone. The staff member could have told me about this when I paid her £30 for overnight parking, which I could have paid online straight away. Fantastic central location. Simply couldn't be better. Lovely friendly French-style service. Rooms are a bit run down and tired but the essential amenities are good and clean. Its apartment living so there is no room service, no restaurant or bar, but there is excellent free coffee maker and a breakfast bar for just a few pounds. Your own (tiny) kitchen includes hobs, microwave, fridge and mini-dishwasher ensures your privacy and independence and there's a tiny Texco's Express a few minutes walk away to stock your pantry. Nós hospedamos em um grupo de 6 pessoas no Hotel, que funciona em um sistema de apart-Hotel, onde você pode contratar a arrumação do quarto se for passar muitos dias. Está em uma excelente localização, a poucos metros de ótimos restaurantes, da Trafalgar Square e ao rua do hotel há uma ponte para pedestres onde você atravessa e tem fácil acesso a London Eye. O apartamento dispunha de uma sala ampla com um sofá cama e cozinha na própria sala e um banheiro com sanitário e pia no andar térreo. Por uma escada um pouco estreita você subia para o primeiro andar que tinha dois quartos amplos e um banheiro com chuveiro e pia. Essa disposição é um pouco diferente para nós brasileiro, mas nada que atrapalhe a estadia. Placé à 2mn à pied de traflagar square, d'un petit supermarché si vous le souhaitez et d'une pharmacie si besoin, c'est un point de départ unique pour faire le touriste, Big ben (en travaux) à 5mn, picadilly à 10mn, buckingam à 15mn le tout à pied. le plus éloigné sera la tour de londres et son pont, compter 1h à pied. All staff were very friendly and polite. The communal areas are very modern and clean. The 2 bed apartment had everything we needed, was very clean and had plenty of storage. Some areas could do with a bit of updating and I wasnt keen on the toilet being downstairs from the bedrooms as the stairs were quite steep. Fui con mi familia (6 personas en total, niños incluidos) a Londres y elegimos este Hotel por su ubicación. Fue un gran acierto porque se puede ir a una gran cantidad de atracciones de la ciudad caminando. Además de Trafalgar Square, está muy cerca de Covent Garden (lugar excelente para shopping o comida), Picadilly, Leicester Square (para ir a alguna obra de teatro o salir a comer también), museos, palacios y lugares históricos, parques, el London Eye, en fin. Las habitaciones son simples (los closets son demasiado pequeños, lo cual es extraño porque la habitación en sí no era chica). Recomiendo pagar porque hagan aseo al menos cada dos días porque no está incluido en el precio base. Tiene un área para cocinar, pequeña pero funcional. We stayed four nights in one of the "studio" rooms and found it to be unusually well set up. There were electrical outlets where you could both see and reach them with ease. The kitchenette had pretty much everything you might need for simple cooking -- a few pots, a colander, a bowl big enough to toss a salad in, a fridge, cook top, microwave, dishwasher with soap supplied, sink with dish liquid and sponge, dish towels, electric kettle, and toaster as well as two forks, two plates, two glasses, etc. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was big enough to swing a small cat and had enough shelving to put your toiletries on. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. Our third-floor room overlooked Northumberland Avenue and was pleasantly quiet considering the amount of traffic out there. Our room didn't have a comfortable chair (not sure where you'd put it), but the two stools at the kitchen counter were fine since we didn't spend much time sitting around the room anyway.||The best thing about Citadines was its location -- several underground stations, the West End theaters and restaurants, the opera house, the embankment, Westminster, a grocery store -- all within an easy walk.||It wasn't cheap, but we feel that we got what we paid for and will likely stay here again. Just returned from a stay with family in two rooms at this hotel. The location is everything. Very close to Westminister, Theatre Land, The London Eye and two Tube stations. There is a 24 hour Tesco Express across the street, so snacks and food are readily available. Didn't take breakfast at the hotel--too overpriced at L12. There are 24 hour coffee facilities in the lobby, and many coffeee shops/breakfast options very close by. The lack of daily maid service was an issue after a few days. The AC in one room was not functioning well at all, but it was cool enough to sleep with an open window. Water pressure in the shower is very low with the water saving feature. I also didn't like the single bottle of shampoo/body wash provided. A larger piece of soap would have been better. Eigentlich gibt es nichts auszusetzen es sind vielleicht ein paar Kleinigkeiten die man mal ersetzen könnte wie z.b. die Dusch Brause die doch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist aber das ist nicht unbedingt der Grund nur dafür 4 Punkte zu geben. Stayed in the studio room for three nights. It was a comfortable stay, fully furnished with a kitchen with bowls, pots, utensils, washing detergent, cooking stove, microwave, dishwater, etc. Was able to cook up some food for a quiet night in London (while outside was busy with the protesting going on). ||||Although we didn't add the housekeeping option, it was easy to keep the room clean for 3 nights. A disposal room was available on our floor out in the hallway so we could just clear our trash each day. Bathroom was bright which was a plus, with a heated towel rail. Only thing was the water pressure was too weak, making taking a hot shower difficult on such a cold day.||||Convenient location, few minutes walk from the underground. Tesco Express was within 5 minutes walk. Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, Buckingham Palace were all easily within walking distance. We ended up walking all the way to Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, the theaters, etc. too. ||||Free coffee, tee, and hot cocoa available in the lobby which was a nice comfort in the cold! Some boardgames were also in the lobby area.||||Only downside is the price; it was a bit pricey for my liking but I guess it's expected due to the location and apartment-like facilities. Booked through hotels.com and ended up paying a bit more extra for taxes & fees, which was nearly the price of a single night -- bummer. Make sure you double check the prices when you book. The taxes & fees weren't shown when I was browsing on hotels.com, hence the price per night looked cheaper compared to other websites.||||One minor thing I would suggest to the hotel is: sell stamps and help customers mail their postcards. I went to the reception asking if they could help me mail and the staff told me to go to the post office to buy a stamp first. If I could easily go to a post office to buy a stamp I wouldn't have needed to ask them to help me mail my card. Other hotels I have stayed had this service. ||||Overall, good comfortable stay!
