When a new client comes to me with a shoot request, I do a fact finding exercise by finding out what they want from their photoshoot. Also, things like budget, whether it be on location or in the studio, turnaround time, and many more questions, just to get a clear idea of what the client is expecting from the shoot

I love the fact that no two photoshoots are the same in my profession. You meet new people and create unique images every time because everybody is different. I love this because it's always interesting to draw out personalities in a portrait

I always had a passion for photography from an early age, and through my years working for advertising agencies as a retoucher, I still took on personal portrait commissions. It got to a point where I had to leave the agency I was working for because of the volume of portraits I was shooting. So I took the plunge and went freelance as a portrait and adverting photographer, and haven't looked back since.

I have 18 years of experience as a freelance photographer, and I have worked with some high-end brands and personalities. This puts me in a unique position to deliver high-quality work because of the techniques and standards I have gained over the years. I can put people at ease during their photoshoot, and bring out people's personalities, and this is a very important part of what I do. Having these skills to interact with my clients really adds an edge to my portraits.
