Been using the gym for about 1 year, TruGym is now under new management and has excel in providing quality improvements such as new flooring, brand new showers, quality new equipment, Lighting and air-con and most of all after an intense workout I can relax in the protein bar with a vast selection of value supplements. THE OWNERS OF THIS GYM ARE DETERMINED TO MAKE IT THE BEST IN THE SOUTH-EAST AND I APPRECIATE THEIR EFFORTS...RECENT IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDE THE SHOWERS -NEW MACHINES-A RELAX AREA AND I UNDERSTAND THEY HAVE FUTURE PLANS TO MAKE IT EVEN BETTER. Friendly and attentive staff, nice atmosphere, best equipment - The best gym around. New management have really made a big impact, it's going from strength to strength. The place is getting better every day, from the locker-room renovations to better machines and equipment. Reasonably priced - well worth the money! The fact that no one has already written a review on this site as of yet leads me to believe someone is waiting for a slip up to post about; bad news travels faster.Greats prices, with flexible opening hours. There are a few choices in the membership:£10.99 for non-peak hours£15.99 for access to the gym during all opening hours12 month contract which provides access at all hoursDiscounts for studentsThe equipment available is definitely better than that of a leisure centre, there are weights to train all muscles! And for the shy women of the world (I'm one of them) there is a women only room.I had read somewhere that a few people had issues with customer service and cancelling their membership. But I think I have been one of those confusing customers (created a membership, realised they provide student memberships so went to cancel the first one after 2 days, then created the second) and they've been nothing but pleasant, helpful and quick about it all.
