What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Finding what the client wants is the first step. When photographing people, be it headshots, portraits or at an event, it's all about people and I love meeting new clients, putting them at ease and getting them the fabulous photos they deserve.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The first question is, what do they want? What sort of image are they looking to convey? Is it a powerful headshot for their company website, is it a relaxed, informal portrait or a striking portrait? If it's an event, where is it, how many guests are there and what would they like me to capture. I have the experience of photographing all of these subjects, but I'll be working to get you the type of photos that you love.
What do you love most about your job?
There can't be many better feelings than when a client says "wow, I love your photos!". Every person and every event is different, but I love every one. Meeting new people and producing the photos that they love. Photography isn't a job, it's a passion.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I became quite well known for my photos and decided that working for myself as a photographer was what I'd truly always wanted to do.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients are looking for a photographer that delivers the photos they want and need. I've worked with and photographed actors and presenters from those starting out, to well known household names and always delivered. When you book a photographer, you do not want to be worrying about whether they can deliver. I have the experience to always deliver what the client wants. Not only do clients want the photos, they want them fast. Unlike many photographers whose turnaround time can be a month, I deliver the photos within 48 hours of the shoot. Fully edited. Going the extra mile for you isn't an extra, it's standard.
