Chilley Farm

Great cafe and farm shop with a wide range of food products available. I mostly use the cafe when I'm cycling, stopping off for a coffee and a cake. Cycling buddies particularly enjoy the scotch eggs and sausage rolls, as well as bacon butties. The food is cooked fresh as are the cakes and scones. The prices are very reasonable.In winter we like the sheltered area with the log burner, and in warmer weather the tables outside are perfect. You are definitely on a farm, so do not expect table clothes and bone china - this is a great place to go if you enjoy fresh air, good coffee and good, filling food. Love this place.....great farm shop and cafè. Real home produced food. Friendly helpful staff. The food from the cafè is good value and freshly cooked. The majority of the the meat is produced by the farm. The butchers meat is the same and not much more expensive than supermarkets but you'll know the providence of the meat. More...

We hired Chilley Farm Barn for our wedding reception last weekend. Angie & John were so lovely & helpful. Offering advice & suggestions & many of which we used for our big day. The location is great & the barn is perfect for dressing however you wish. Utterly beautiful place! Our guests absolutely loved it, as did we. We had our wedding reception here in June 2016. It was absolutely perfect! John and Angie were extremely helpful with any questions we had and everything ran smoothly. We had quite a few children at the wedding so the play area was brilliant! We hardly saw them!
We were able to set up and decorate the barn the day before and then we cleared up the morning after. Before tidying up we had a very yummy breakfast at the café. We would highly recommend hiring Chilley Farm barn and we hope to camp here in the summer!

We looked for a long time for the perfect venue for our special day... and found it at Chilley farm with Angie. Beautiful stone barn and adjoining courtyard, a gorgeous wooden bridge over a stream with cute ducks and geese. The kids loved the playground area and all our guests had an amazing time camping in the field opposite with firepits, then breakie at the farm café in the morning. The space was simply perfect! Easy to decorate to our style and the lovely Angie was so accommodating and helpful with all our queries, giving suggestions for great local marquee and Hog roast hire. Just come back from a fab bank holiday weekend camping �

This camp site is great for all.
Had breakfast in the cafe was delicious �
Great power shower
Site was very clean all round.

Owners and staff couldn’t be more helpful.
And to top it all we saw an electric storm was amazing.
Will definitely be back.

Stayed here with a campervan for several days. We had the whole field to ourselves which was a little win! Very quiet and peaceful. The staff were very friendly, facilities were great and showers are hot! Popped into the shop a few times for produce and lunch. We were very pleased with the quality we received. I've been shopping at Chilley Farm for several years, now. Their sausages and bacon are the best around. Their pies are the best I've had anywhere--full of meat and are not a bit of meat swimming in gravy, as so many are. The produce is either produced by themselves, or local.They also do a superb BLT. Worth a lunch if you've walked across the footpath from Pevensey, which I often do. A lovely walk. More...

This is the best Farm Shop we've used. The main reason we go is that their meat is outstanding and if it's not on display it is usually available in the cold store. Not just meat but all seasonal vegetables, locally sourced and tasty - which supermarket produce lacks! Also large range of speciality deli items, sauces, herbs, preserves etc. It's hidden away down a long track but well worth the trip.Only drawback about highly recommending somewhere is that many (too many?) others then go! You pay a bit more but get fr better quality for your money.Fair prices for great fare. More...
