I love the farm and the park is brilliant. however I find food options for sitting in park limited. think to be serving full menu in park would be really beneficial. I was in today and would have bought lunch if full menu. but sausage rolls and bacon rolls not really that appetizing. I worked well before and would love to see it brought back.😊 More...

We spent the day here for my daughters birthday. From calling in advance to ask about booking tables, to the excellent food and service, brilliant play area and generally lovely vibe I couldn’t recommend this place enough! It’s a running joke in my family that I always have at least one complaint…. But not here! We felt so looked after. The food was varied, great quality and well priced. With so much for the kids to do and the relaxing friendly atmosphere it really was a memorable day. The kind of atmosphere that comes from the top down… so rare these days! My friend and I visited today. What a warm welcome from the lovely young ladies on duty today. So friendly and efficient. We had the share board which was out of this world. Real high end quality cheese, etc. Something you’d pay a lot for in the city. The tray bakes hands down were the best we have ever tasted and the coffee again was the best I personally have tasted. Amazed at the quality for the price. We had the privilege of chatting to the owners who were so lovely and so friendly. Their gift shop and deli section is top notch and we left a few pounds lighter and a few lbs heavier but can’t wait to visit again soon. So worth the drive from Aberdeen. I wish this couple all the best because what a great day out for all ages. Roll on Summer so I can pick berries and make jam and let my Grandson loose in the park. I had a great morning at the crochet workshop, Meg has the patience of a saint & was just so lovely. It was great just taking a bit of time out at such a crazy time of year to learn something new. Hope to see more of this type of thing. There was a relaxed atmosphere, cosy surroundings and good coffee…… hoping I finish my crochet Christmas tree garland by next Christmas!!!😂 More...

Visited today for the first time since before lockdown and was very pleasantly surprised. We visited Santa which was a lovely experience for 3 of my children. ..did not feel rushed at all and Santa made an effort to communicate with them all. We then went inside to have breakfast. Reasonable prices, yummy food and very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere and very welcoming. Will definitely be back soon in the New Year. Hope you enjoy your well deserved break. Can’t recommend these guys enough. My dad has been getting his tree from the same place for 35 years and I’ve been getting mine for 19 years. This was our first year at Charleton, the staff were all friendly and helpful and tree selection was great. Will defo be back next year! More...
