Thor had a lovely time with Dani from champion dog training in his home training visit. Dani had lots of knowledge and information which really helped us. She helped us to teach Thor to be patient when waiting for his dinner and to wait. She has also given us lots of tips for training Thor to walk nicely on a lead. She also have us lots of tips for reward based training and helped us with his diet. Thor also got a little treat for being so good from Dani. Our next session is already booked in! Reggie had his first 121 session with Dani yesterday & it was brilliant. Dani made friends with Reggie quickly to get him on side, then through the session she gave some superb advice, practical examples of what to do & support to get Reggie walking properly & his recall is now much, much better. Had my first training session with Dani yesterday. Rocco is initially sceptical of new people but after not even a minute he was so trusting. She is an absolute natural. She was so informative and gave me so many tips to help me continue his training at home. As well as giving myself and Rocco valuable lessons she made it so fun which massively helped keep him engaged whilst learning. I’ve used other trainers in the past over the years with many different dogs and I’ve never comes away feeling as positive as I did today. She made me feel so comfortable but also helped me feel more confident with what I was doing which I know will also help Rocco along the way. Dani was a breath of fresh air, within one lesson she managed to get our Dalmatian to come on command and explained how to always have the dogs attention. Also we have eradicated pulling when walking just by getting the right lead, small differences have made a massive improvement and already a joy to walk Penny. Puppy classes
Puppy classes are once a week for 6 weeks (every Tuesday 6pm-7pm) at Boreham Village Hall, Essex. Puppies need to be between 12 and 24 weeks of age to start the course so that all the dogs are at a similar stage of development, (Puppies must be fully vaccinated in order to attend training and vaccination certificates must be brought to the first training session). Each class has a maximum of 10 puppies. The puppy classes are great for learning commands, socialisation, equipment, house manners…
1-2-1 dog training
The 1-2-1 dog training sessions are provided to those needing extra help with behaviour, commands, obedience and general training. These sessions start at £45 per hour and £85 for 2 hours. If your dog has a behaviour problem inside the house or suffers from separation anxiety and a home visit is required it will be an extra £30 per hour on top of the 1-2-1 session.
Dog walking
Our dog walking services are available to those who are unable to take their dogs out during the day. We come and collect your dog in our dog friendly van (including crates and ventilation) and take them on an hours adventurous walk. The dog walk can be 1 on 1 or around other dogs to help socialise. Dogs will be kept on lead unless we are in an enclosed area alone (as long as your permission is given). An hours walk (including pick up and drop off) is £15.
