Deb worked her maths magic on our 15 year old son. We felt he just needed a boost to his confidence to help him gain a grade required by college for his maths GCSE. The difference was evident within weeks, his attitude to maths and his grades improved.
Due to school closure and no exams being sat this year due to Covid 19 the tuition came to an abrupt end, however we have the upmost confidence that he will get the grade required for his college place. Deb is the most lovely person and has a fantastic rapport with her pupils. I’m sure she will be one of the first people our son contacts when his results come through in the summer. Debra tutored my daughter during Y10 and Y11. I can not recommend her highly enough. She is professional, understanding and extremely knowledgable. Debra gets to know her students, assesses their understanding in Maths and works from there. She has extensive knowledge of the Maths curriculum and the various exam bodies and is always up to date with curriculum changes. Her teaching style is to be admired. She constantly motivated, engaged, encouraged and cared. The progress my daughter Madeleine made was amazing- she went from a grade 4 to achieving a grade 7 in August 2019 for her maths.
