Ordered a rather unusual wedding cake from Celtic Cakes and they did an excellent job! Me and my partner had been living in Japan before moving back to the UK to get married and asked for a cake shaped like a Japanese castle and they were friendly and very easy to communicate with, working their magic to create a fantastic cake that included great details such as two dragons and a balcony with a photo of us in. No matter what event you are planning, I would recommend Celtic Cakes - they can create whatever you dream up!
It was also very tasty - we went for three different flavours and all were very well received by guests (my personal favourite was the toffee apple!). Thank you very much Ann and Brendan for helping make our day so special! :D More...

Eventually cut the amazing cake for my mums 70th. It was absolutely delicious and moist. The decoration was exactly as I asked and even the bench was made from Rice Krispies. Brilliant. Thank you very much.

Amazing !!! We weren't really sure what we wanted when we first met with Ann at our consultation, however, after spending some time looking through examples of their work and tasting some delicious cake, we made the decision on a lemon flavoured top tier and 120 individual iced cakes (lemon again) - each with its own edible rose. The top tier had a collection of edible roses in our colour scheme. (Burgandy and Ivory)

We were simply blown away on our wedding day when we walked in and saw our amazing display. The photos just didn't do it justice. Ann and the team are simply fantastic. Everyone commented on how lovely the cakes tasted, and how fabulous it looked.

We wrapped our top tier in clingfilm while we went away on honeymoon, and here we are now - almost 4 weeks later and we have just unwrapped our cake again - its as moist now and as tasty as the individual cakes were 4 weeks ago.

We cant thank you enough for being a part of our day, and for our spectacular cake(s)

I keep looking for excuses now to have another cake my by you.

Massive thank you to Brendan and Ann who took all the stress out off making a memorable bespoke cake for my fiancé’s 30th birthday.
From start to finish communication and customer care was incredible. Speedy replies always to messages and e-mails. Cheapest quote in South East Wales by over £100! Cash and card accepted.
Honest advice about cake size, took the time to go through the design with me on paper as it was complicated and one of a kind (although phone consultation done first).
Packaged well for transportation included in price and delivery offered. I chose to pick up the cake myself and was blown away so much better than I had imagined and almost everything edible (just the wire and dowel rods not!) My partners reaction when he saw it equally as impressed!
The cake has frozen and defrosted well and we are still enjoying it in moderation nearly a month later! We chose chocolate and it tastes incredible.
I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase a cake again from Celtic Cakes Studio and would most certainly recommend them to all family, friends and strangers looking for a cake maker that can bring a dream into reality!

Bought a rainbow cake for a leaving do at work, so impressed!! Ann and her husband (sorry I didn't catch his name) are so lovely. The cake was made so much faster than I expected for something I imagine to be v technical and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!! Everybody who got a slice loved it, I cannot believe this humongous cake was £30 either?! I would have happily paid north of £50 for the quality and service I received. Ann even wrote a message on the top of the cake and didn’t charge extra for it. The apple & toffee version was original, delicious and - surprisingly- not sickly sweet and loved by our guests. As advised, the remainder of it froze and defrosted well, so no waste.
