Knowledgeable and efficient service. I used to do my own accounts and tax return, but using Celtic book keeping has saved me time and money and worry.

Q&As

We provide online bookkeeping services where clients can access there records to check what the business is doing and see queries from us real time rather than waiting for letters to be sent. We can do regular bookkeeping for various periods through to one off work as required, also providing VAT, payroll and CIS services where required, we can complete year end accounts for sole traders and partnerships and have an accountant who works with us to complete the returns for limited companies. Under one roof we can tailor a service to suit all your requirements.

Behind every business is a great owner who is passionate about the service/goods they provide, having a good bookkeeper/accountant will help reduce the extra time spent on paperwork and provide a full picture of how the business is operating. A good accountant is proactive in there advice to ensure your business is run the most tax efficient way and ensure that you are meeting your reporting requirements to HMRC.

I love nothing more than untangling a mess, when clients come to me and there have been issues its great to work through and at the end provide the client a clear picture of what's been done and give them the knowledge to continue by themselves if they wish or offer continued assistance and support to provide a more upto date reporting and accounting system where they can see how they perform quarter on quarter.

After leaving the Royal Navy and working in banking, I started doing my husbands books for him and decided to undertake some professional training which I did through the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, this training still continues in the ever changing world of accounting. After a late career break I decided to set up on my own and have built the business slowly getting to know each client at a time and ensuring the service provided meets there needs before undertaking more new clients. I enjoy the flexibility of being home based as it fits around the children but also around business requirements and I get to give an insight into business financials and help them see areas that they could target to improve profit, and also help them plan for how they want to see there business.

With our company you have one contact who you deal with directly, and by no means are we a 9-5 service. We offer services that fit around clients requirements e.g. if you require an evening appointment this can be arranged, if you require a chat to ask something this call will be answered or returned quickly and we have understanding that for chats/email replies if its under half an hour we do not charge as its part of our service of working together to help you build the business you want.
