No one ever WANTS to write a will. We don't WANT to think about what is going to happen when we die. It wasn't until getting a mortgage and having a child that I realised I really needed to sort this. What do you love most about your job?
I love working directly with clients to bring them peace of mind that everything will be taken care of the way they wish. Alleviating the stress and worry by finding the solutions needed.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked for myself for over 20 years and enjoy the flexibility it gives me. It means I can choose to schedule appointments when it is most convenient for my clients. Evenings and weekends included, I am not controlled by office hours or geography. 100% confidential and fully indured. I abide by the Society of Will Writers code of conduct.
Why should our clients choose you?
I feel I give 100% to every client. I am always happy to discuss and answer questions, there is no pressure or rush to get a job completed. My client comes first and only when they are 100% happy, we complete. I am flexible with fitting people in and always accessible via phone, text or WhatsApp.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I have been providing my service remotely for the last 4 years, so when Covid came along, this wasn’t a problem. I could carry on providing the service throughout. After an initial phone conversation, we can set up a meeting via zoom or teams. This allows a virtual face to face conversation, which is quicker and more flexible. This means I can offer my services anywhere in the UK. The documents when drafted are posted out to you will full instructions on any signing etc needed. Don’t delay because it’s difficultto find time to get to an office, call me and set up a virtual online appointment.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
To all face to face meeting I carry full ppe. If needed, I am happy to wear a mask, gloves and visor, keeping my distance. I have conducted meetings in gardens and Will signings in clients drives. Client safety is very important and I will always abide by any rulings and clients wishes. Hand sanitizer has become an item in every coat pocket!
Last Will and Testament
Single Wills, Mirror Wills (couples).
Your Will is your wishes as to where you want your estate to go when you die. It’s not morbid, it’s practical and very important. Non of us want to leave our family and friends with no idea what we wanted to happen. We can also give instructions as to who has guardianship of our children, if we don’t, the court will decide.
There can also be Trusts set up in your Will. Property Trusts that safeguard your ownership in a property for the future for example.
Lasting Power of Attorney
This legal document, when registered with the Office of The Public Guardian, gives legal permission for your chosen attorneys to make decisions for you when you can’t.
There are two types. The Health and Welfare LPA and the Financial LPA which allows your attorneys to bank, pay bills and make financial decisions for you. This is important to be in place if you lose capacity but also what if you had to be in hospital for a while and couldn’t take care of your finances. Your attorney can.
Living Trust or Asset Protection Trust
This gem of a trust is set up during your lifetime to safeguard your assets. This can be a property or properties, cash assets or investment assets. Safely put in Trust to pass on to future generations, the details of which go in your statement of wishes. If you would like to know more about these trusts, please do get in touch.
