I have over twenty five years of classroom teaching experience in Mathematics; teaching secondary levels of Maths up-to and including A-level. I have taught in both British and international schools, along with a tutoring company. I now feel it is time to vensure out on my own.

Catherine Slack is very knowledgeable and is very kind and patient but I struggled personally with 'online' tuition and prefer a face to face arrangement. I would recommend Catherine however to anybody who prefers the online method of tuition. More...

Catherine tutored my son through his second attempt at his National 5 Maths. Throughout his year working with Catherine she was kind, flexible and extremely supportive of Jack who also has dyslexia and organisational issues. What do you love most about your job?
I love maths and solving problems logically comes naturally. I also love to see and hear a student when finally they understand the maths topic they are doing.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Two things. Firstly to have the opportunity to work both with students and their parents. Secondly to have the freedom to explore the topic to create a better understanding than for each individual student.
Why should our clients choose you?
I get the results and more that the student needs. Most of my students have gained higher results in exams than they or their teachers at school ever thought possible.

I’m happy to teach online. I successfully done so over the last 12 months with fabulous results.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Due to teaching online students are perfectly safe.
