What do you love most about your job?
That's an easy one - the animals!
I love all animals and the best part of my day is always seeing seeing my lovely furry friends.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always loved animals and I wanted to find a way that I could put that to use.
I came up with the idea of Cat Sit With Me when I found my self stuck for finding care for my Cat Duchess. I would usually have a family member or a friend pop over but everyone was going away at the same time as me! I didn't like the idea of a cattery and that's when I thought about seeing if there were professionals who would come to me.
I went from there and eventually expanded into dog walking too as there are many people who need this service too.
Why should our clients choose you?
have owned cats, dogs and various other small animals most of my life, so I have lots of hands on experience in what makes our favourite companions happy. Animal welfare is important to me and is something I am extremely passionate about.
As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of a loving family home, with as little change as possible. A pet will always be at their happiest in their own home environment, where they feel safe and secure. That is why my pet sitting service is the perfect solution for when you want to go away.
I recently completed a Level 3 Veterinary Nursing Assistant Diploma and will also be enrolling the other team members of Cat Sit With Me in 2017.
Pet Sitting
Whether you are going away for one night or 2 weeks, Cat Sit With Me can help. We will pop in and make sure your furry friend is receiving all the love and affection they need, and are having just as much fun as you!
WHATS INCLUDED IN OUR DAILY RATE:
- We come to your home - feed, fuss and care for your pet
- We keep the house tidy by opening/closing curtains, collecting post and turning lights on/off to give a lived in feel
- Put your bins out on bin day
- Water your house plants
- Regular text or email updates
- Additional requests considered
Dog Walking
We offer group and one to one walks at Cat Sit With Me. We appreciate that one size does not fit all and not all dogs like to be walked with other dogs.
Group walks are suitable for your dog if they are sociable and well behaved. Groups would never be any more than four dogs at one time. We offer 30 minute and 1 hour walks. If another length of time is required, this can be arranged but is likely to be a one to one walk, rather than a group walk. We come and collect your dog(s) and will take them for a walk in the local countryside. These walks will vary in location to keep things interesting for your dog, but if you have a preferred location please let us know.
We offer one to one walks for dogs who prefer a more quiet life and perhaps a little more 'me' time. We will aim to take them to a low dog density area, where possible. Our standard walks are 30 minutes or 1 hour, but a different length of time can be arranged.
Please note, pick up and drop off times will never be deducted from your dogs walk. They will always be walked for the amount of time agreed!
