Carrie has helped me on a number of occasions with great results. When I went vegan she helped me with guidance on how to do that in healthy sustainable way so I could still get all the nutrition I need. She also managed to identify some food intolerances I had which ment I was able to stop eating things that my body didnt like. Recently she helped improve my digestive meaning my stomach feels way happier and I notice a big difference in how I feel as a result. She has a huge amount of knowledge but gives it in a way that doesn't make you overwhelmed or confused about what to eat or not eat. Highly recommended! More...

I can't speak highly enough of Carrie and the support she has been to me since my diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease some 18 months ago. Her professionalism , research and attention to detail has been life changing for me in terms of managing the best one can with such a complex condition . Sound and effective nutritional advice is so important and combined with Carrrie's approach of empathy and understanding make her a great therapist. Thank you so much.

Thanks to Carrie I feel brand new!! Having suffered with pain, fatigue and headaches for 10 years I was really sceptical prior to my first appointment. However I made the changes required and within a few weeks feel better than I have in over 10years! Carrie is a breath of fresh air with her no nonsense approach that is entirely effective. So very helpful, I highly recommend Carrie. She really listens to all your concerns and answers all your questions. Because I was doing the consult over Skype she provided me with a follow up email to makes sure I had understood everything and included detailed instructions incase I had any questions. Amazing!!! I was apprehensive before my consultation as I knew my diet was probably as good as it was going to be. I was expecting to be told to eat 5 a day and keep hydrated. I was wrong. Carrie explained to me what foods I should be eating together, portion control, and the importance of eating at the correct times. Not the overhaul I was expecting. We went to Carrie for our daughter who was having regular abdominal pain after eating which the GP could not refine or explain. After a thorough investigation including a highly detailed food diary we removed some elements from her diet, adding in suggested replacements and things have been much improved since then.Carrie's approach is very individual and there are no grand statements. She took a whole lifestyle into account when advising us. With Carrie's help we have got to a much better place, a stable diet and a greater knowledge of how our diet can be fitted to a hectic lifestyle. I can't recommend her enough. More...

I went to see Carrie because I was feeling tired all the time and run down. Carrie gave me great advise over my sessions with her about what kinds of foods I should be eating and the best times to be eating them. She recommended some supplements for me to take to help boost my energy and overall well being. After a couple of weeks of following carries recommendations I noticed a significant difference in how I felt and how I looked also. She didn't put me on a diet that said 'you can't have this or that' she just gave me a new food/nutrition lifestyle. I first went to see Carrie in March 2016 after suffering for a long time with digestive problems. Carrie spent a lot of time with me going over my problems, family history, diet and exercise to see where improvements could be made. After taking on board the suggestions made I began to see a difference in just a few days. Two months in and I had never felt better, the simple changes to my diet along with exercise have made such a dramatic change to me I have more energy, am sleeping better and enjoying home cooked wholesome meals. I enjoyed all my sessions with Carrie: she listened to my concerns about my diet and understood the difficulties i have had trying to change my diet in the past. In a very non - judgmental and caring way Carrie advised me on changes I could make to my diet and provided me with valuable suggestions, information and a programme of nutritional eating that suited my personal needs. I started with Carrie during a particularly challenging time in my life. I was diagnosed with an eating disorder and felt like I was getting nowhere with doctors and therapists. Then I met Carrie. She has educated me on why it's important to fuel my body and how best to do this. She breaks everything down into simple, manangeable steps which makes me feel like I'm making progress. Carrie fully lives up to the 'therapy' aspect of her title as she is sensitive, supportive and yet holds me accountable for the changes I want with my body and my mind. I was diagnosed with coeliac disease over 6 years ago so have been following a gluten free diet ever since. The help and dietary information that I have received from the NHS has been practically non existent. I have been struggling to follow a healthy diet that provided me with the right balance of nutrients that my body needed which resulted in fatigue, weight gain, poor sleep and much more. After my first meeting with Carrie that all changed, Carrie not only told me where I was going wrong she provided me with a thorough dietary plan and a recommendation for a couple of supplements. I'm not saying it's been easy as in my case there's so much that you can't eat but Carrie was there with encouragement and to help and point me in the right direction answering any questions that I had. Carrie is great to work with. She genuinely cares about your health and wellbeing. Carrie gave me a personalised plan which was easy to follow. She made simple recommendations to help improve my lifestyle as I was always feeling tired due to a busy work/life balance. After making several small changes I have more energy and a healthier diet. Carrie also provided me with advice on supplements, something which a doctor generally won't help with. I now incorporate what I have learned into my day to day life and find myself feeling great, using the recipes over and over again. Carrie is undoubtedly one of Scotland's finest nutritionists. She helped me shed pounds by making easy switches in my diet and cutting a few things out also! She uses a holistic approach so tailors a programme to each undividual's needs. I have reaped the benefits of eating more fruit and veg, cutting back on alcohol, coffee, tea, dairy, red meat and carbs. She is really enthusiastic about helping her clients reach their goals and I have been transformed in every way.
