So my club needed a complete overhaul and what it needed was an illusion of space with a light airy feel in the day time and a night club look at weekends. Where do we begin? The wonderful Caroline has helped me on a couple of interior design projects for our new home. I am both terrible at making decisions and generally very busy and so slow at making them at the best of times. I’m also a bit of a control freak so struggle to hand over decisions to anyone else. Caroline not only has an incredible eye for design but she is also insanely patient, collaborative, helpful, professional, committed, and works to exactly your needs in terms of time, finances, ideas and inspirations. I had never used an interior designer before, and was worried that I might feel intimidated. How wrong could I be, Caroline was warm, charming and completely understood the look that I was wanting to achieve in my home. Caroline went to great efforts to obtain samples and ideas. Her suggestions for a colour scheme, fabrics to use for curtains and blinds, plus flooring ideas enabled me to achieve the contemporary calm interior I was looking for. Caroline also has great contacts, so once I had decided on fabrics, flooring and joinery, she was able to introduce me to the individuals that created my new look.
