We have been working with Cardwell and Simons for almost 2 years now and have been extremely impressed with the service throughout this time.

As a school, communication is so important to ensuring our photo days run smoothly and that parents are provided with all the information they need after each session.

I just wanted to particularly pass on my thanks to the photography team who attended the whole school photo last week - this is something we do every 7 years and it was a great success with feedback from the school team incredibly positive.

The photographers were personable, helpful and absolutely fantastic with the children who struggled to sit still once in place on the staging. They went out of their way to look after these children and were very professional and attentive to all pupils and staff.

Despite making my first contact out of hours - I received a reply to my email (which wasn’t automated I hasten to add) and a call promptly the next morning after leaving a voicemail. Anne continued this delightful and responsive tone throughout our conversation and was able to make reference to my email. This shows diligence and I’m a fan of ‘show me that you know me’ interactions.

It is never easy servicing the public as everyone has differing standards, attitudes and opinions... but Aviv Simons is the quintessential gentleman of customer service, with seemingly endless patience and a 'nothing is a problem' attitude. He was so reassuring and helped me, extremely promptly, with the whole ordering process, including looking up specific codes for me, for specific photo's, which were not given to me by the school, as well as with other (minor but important) details like allowing me to order the prints without a mount (including a discount) when they were only listed as 'with a mount or a frame'. Very good family photo shoot. The results were first rate and we ordered a large print.
I would recommend these people as they are good value , efficient and creative , it’s a competitive market but they stand out in our experience.

A couple of days ago I left a very bad and unfair opinion about Cardwell & Simons. I was really angry and upset and I let myself be carried away by my worst impulses, I rushed to write and post a bad review and I SORRY AND APOLOGIZE for my bad decision. Sometimes by misevaluating things, due to ignorance, prejudice, or assuming wrong things, we make mistakes that we later regret.
And I am about to re-publish a true and genuine review of England's BEST PHOTOGRAPHERS.
Cardwell&Simons have been very understanding and sensitive to me, I cannot delete my previous review but I am revoking it right now.
Cardwell&Simons have some of the best attributes you need to have to be magnificent photographers: professionalism, knowledge, self-taught, creativity, passion, patience, persistence, curiosity, vision, empathy, kindness, sociability, organization, responsibility, own style and I could go on saying more and more about how well they have treated me and my daughter with their school photos.
This company works daily with a lot of effort to be able to give us the best school photos of our children for years.
Photography is an art and this is what this company does, art.

They have helped me in everything, always complying with the highest standards.

My daughter's high school told us about the day of the photo with Cardwell&Simons.
I contacted them via email to see if they could take more than one photograph of my daughter, since since she started high school 3 years ago, I have never been able to have school photos of her for covid reasons.
In the email they told me that it was impossible to take more photos of the children due to lack of time, well, they could at the end of all the sessions, but neither.
Indeed, this company doesn't care exactly the same about the comments we write, the school hires them and if I don't buy a photo, another parent will, right?
Just to say that they have done a really disappointing and horrible job, the boy sits down, presses the shutter button on the camera and that's it! come out as the child comes out, next!
A photographer who is photographing children should be a bit more professional and tell the children, move your hair out of your face, sit up straight, smile...etc...
The work they have done is shameful, unprofessional, a real disaster and above all the terrible knowledge that they have treated our children like sheep, sit down, photo and next.
I am furious and disappointed in them. This would be a great memory for me and my family who live abroad and the only thing I have left of them is a bitterness in my mouth since I am not going to buy the lousy photos because of how bad it turns out.

Beautiful school pictures of my daughter with outstanding customer service. 1st I ordered the wrong package and it was promptly refunded so I could reorder correctly. I then panicked on my 2nd order that I'd made another error and I was emailed back soo quickly to confirm my exact order. Turns out I'd made no error that time, however Mr Simons was super polite, helpful and helped ease my anxiety. Lovely pictures and excellent customer service.
