There's a lot of removal companies out there but we work all over the uk and are stepping into international moves as well. We don't just do removals we also cover man and van work and commercial office work and are looking into doing logistical work as well so we cover all aspects of the transportation sector. That way we won't be limiting ourselves to the workload.

What do you love most about your job?
Moving home or office can be a very stressful experience and the part of our job we love the most is to see our clients successfully move into their new property or office knowing that with all of their possessions have been packaged, handled and delivered with care.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had a bad experience with a removals company that didn't consider sentimental and valuable items different to other household items, which is what inspired us to start Capital Moves.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All of our trained operatives are Covid-19 tested on a regular basis and full PPE is worn throughout the entire process.
Domestic Moves

Commercial Moves
It is a huge job moving offices and office furniture and then removing all the waste before vacating the property. When you call Capital Moves, you don’t just get a removal job. Our qualified team will carry out your move to the highest professional and environmentally friendly standard, no matter how large or small the office or business premises is.
The team can dismantle and reassemble almost any piece of furniture. We also supply high quality packaging materials and go above and beyond to ensure belongings arrive safely to your new place of business. Our fleet of specialist trucks varies in size so we can find our way into the tightest of locations and take up minimal space whilst we work.
We are also able to clear any waste at the commercial space and sort out and separate all the office waste that is recyclable as we work alongside Capital Waste who have a waste management license.
Man with a Van
Let Capital Moves man with a van service take care of your transport requirements. We provide you with a professional service at a competitive price. A man and van service is exactly what it says, Capital Moves will assist by giving you one or two operatives who will simply help you to load the van, drive to the new location and unload the van. This is a great service for anyone who needs a quick and affordable service that suits their budget and allows the strain of carrying boxes and renting a vehicle to disappear.
You will be assigned a personal move coordinator who will ensure the van arrives when you need it and takes you to the destination required. You will also be covered by our insurance in the case of any damages, the cover is up to £50k (as per our Ts&Cs). This means there is no risk that damages will affect your move. We will help you make the savings needed.

We understand that packing your home is a delicate task and only use the best packing materials to ensure the safety of all items within your home. Our team has heavy lifting equipment and protective clothing to allow your safety and ours. We also make sure we do that little bit extra. You will find that our handy team come along with a toolbox which allows them to assemble, pack, store and disassemble any items needed.
We will plan out the service you need and ensure that all packing is done prior to the removal and then plan a systematic day of loading. Strip Out Service / Waste Removal
We are the sister company to Capital Waste which means two things. One, we can take away and recycle all packing materials once you have moved in and unpacked. Two, if there are any works that need to be done to the house, we can refer you to Capital Waste to have the Strip Out works done and all waste taken away.
We take pride in sharing this information with customers as Capital Waste have been established for almost 10 years and have an immense amount of experience. They can clear all the waste and provide you with a Job Sheet showing before and after pictures and a Waste Transfer Note to show that the waste has been disposed of correctly.
