What do you love most about your job?
I am passionate about working with both people and dogs. I really enjoy helping people in general and it saddens me when I see stressed owners with unhappy dogs. I like to think I do and can make a difference in these people's and dogs ' lives. Witnessing a positive outcome and seeing happy owners with happy dogs is the best feeling.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Obviously, my love of dogs first and foremost. I have been a teacher for years and caring for dogs too, so it made sense to combine the two and teach people how to train their pooches and in doing so strengthen their bond with them and improve dog - human relationships.
People I met on walks were often telling me about problems with their dogs and I kept thinking that I had a good idea where the problem came from and so I could help them. All I needed was to develop my knowledge of dogs and become qualified!
Why should our clients choose you?
I am not just doing this because 'I love dogs' - loving dogs is not enough and adequate skill is essential when dealing with canine behaviour. Dogs are complex creatures and often they are trying to tell us things that we are missing. Our responses often end up inadvertently worsening behaviour. I can help owners to decode what their dog is trying to tell them and gain a better understanding of their dogs through careful and thought-through behaviour modification programmes, that are designed to suit each individual dog's needs as well as the owner's needs. I am also fully accredited and qualified, insured and can provide references if required.

Yes I can offer remote consultations however the initial consultation which includes observation will have to be in person.

I will train you train your dog. I will work with you so you will develop the skills and confidence to train your dog yourself. I will help with many problematic behaviours including aggression and fear based anxiety and aggressive behaviours. If what you need is to teach your puppy basic obedience so they are set for life as a happy, responsive, polite member of the family, I can also help with that!
