Camomile Consulting Limited was set up in 2008 to provide Business coaching and project management services to a range of organisations. In 2017, I qualified as a Nutrition and Weight Management advisor and then moved on to qualify as a L2 Gym Instructor & L3 Personal Trainer, and now offer fitness and nutrition coaching to those who want to improve their health and fitness for life.

I have avoided any exercise class for a long time. Working for long hours sat at a desk had left me with lower back and shoulder pain. Since having classes with Hils the pain has gone. I feel more toned and stronger. Hils provides classes tailored to my needs, which are fun and done in a way that is positive, motivating and comfortable. Hilary is a super personal trainer. We have been working together since April and I really enjoy her sessions. She makes the sessions fun and engaging you don’t realise how hard you are working! I would highly recommend Camomile PT for both individual and group sessions. Hils is a fantastic trainer with a positive attitude. Hilary has encouraged me and given me confidence in myself and my ability, enough to make me join a gym. .......something I would never have dreamed of before training with Hilary. The sessions are individually tailored to encourage and get the best out of you and Hilary’s calm demeanour and non judgemental approach is different to other PT instructors as she really cares, supports and progresses you. I have enjoyed several classes with Camomile PT. I felt so comfortable with Hilary from the start, she knew what I needed and set great exercises just for me, but also for the other people in the group. I seek to understand in detail, where a client is starting from and where they want to be with their health and wellbeing, and what they enjoy or dislike in terms of exercise. I work with clients to build or rebuild flexibility, mobility and ensuring good quality strong movement which enables clients to enjoy day to day activities.

Love your body as the amazing machine that it is, and treat yourself to time to work on specific areas to improve health and wellbeing, whether that be increasing range of movement, achieving pain free movement, building strength and stamina, weight loss or a combination of all of these.

Seeing clients have many light bulb moments as they rediscover abilities they thought they had lost or learn new skills. Whether it is being able to stand on one leg to put socks on again, or comfortably be able to lift and carry items, or achieving pain free movement. Also seeing smiling, energised faces after an exercise session well done :)

Having been very active in my early years, work and life took over in my 20s and 30s, as i reached 40 and realised I had little cardio fitness and declining strength generally, I knew something had to change. My journey was helped right near the start by an amazing Personal Trainer who was so encouraging and supportive. Many people feel that after 40 it is normal to have aches and pains and not be able to do the things you used to, however it doesn't have to be like that. I trained as a personal trainer so that I could help and encourage others along their journeys to better health and fitness.

Because I really care and do my best for all my clients. I have strong knowledge, a no nonsense approach, and I thrive on seeing people surprise themselves and build confidence through what they can achieve.

In addition to providing training in person in High Wycombe (Bucks) and surrounding areas I offer online 121 or Small Group PT options via Zoom or FaceTime. Each session is interactive and each attendee gets personal attention.

I have introduced a full online offering.
For face to face training, this is always done within the latest guidelines. Clients either use their own equipment or if I provide it, it is properly cleaned before and after use using approved (for effectiveness against coronaviruses) disinfectant cleanser. Hand sanitiser is freely available. Sessions are outside in large open spaces to ensure physical distancing is easy to achieve and lots of fresh air.

Services

Private 121 Personal Training session tailored for the individual to work towards specific goals such as weight loss, cardio fitness, muscular strength, endurance and toning. Enabling fitness for every day life.

Tailored advice including analysis and detailed understanding of current nutrition and diet and advice and support to make positive changes to health and wellbeing. Covering Weight Loss (fat loss), menopause and general help to attain sustainable eating habits which match your daily life.

A suite of online classes run in 4 week blocks which provide a full body workout across 3-4 classes per week - encompassing a balance of stretching, good posture, good movement and strength/toning and stamina building exercises. If you prefer to train with others then this is for you. Groups are on average just 4-8 participants and classes are interactive and are a lovely community of people who want to be fit for life over 40, and to enjoy the process and feel comfortable.
