CAMEO CATERERS

I recently used bark to find a catering company for my mums funeral/wake. It was an incredibly tough time and the last thing I wanted to think about was arrangements and menus etc. I put my details in and how many I wanted to cater for and CAMEO CATERERS came back to me the next morning saying they were available and provided the cost and menu without me asking. They were fantastic from start to finish and even made homemade scones,cream and jam which were my mums favourite. They organised everything and made it totally stress free for us. The Newport High School Old Boys Bowls Club held their annual dinner and presentation of awards at Rogerstone on the 14th October 2015; 45 bowlers and their lady guest sat down for the meal. I was the organiser! The caterers arrived as promised promptly at 10.00 and set about preparing the tables and the food. It was a real 'hive of well organised activity'. I then left. On my return at 12.00 I was absolutely thrilled by the appearance of the room, with the tables beautifully set up and decorated with our club colours. As the members arrived they all commented on how marvellous everything looked. The atmosphere was tremendous.Promptly at 1.00 we all sat down and 'tucked in'! We had chosen a three course meal to be followed by cheese and biscuits and coffee or tea. Each course had a choice of options. The meals were served with no delay by very attentive staff who took pleasure in making sure everything was just right. The starters were delicious, the main courses were hot, wholesome and plentiful and the sweets were 'to die for'! It was with some difficulty that we then tackled the super array of cheeses provided, but we did our best!! Staff continued to offer us extra helpings throughout and they simply could not possibly have done more. Everything was then quickly cleared away to allow for speeches, etc.to begin. Finally, everything was taken away and nothing was left for members to do afterwards.Everyone was delighted with the meal and a number said how much better it was than that provided at many restaurants! Value for money was quite extra-ordinary. There is absolutely no doubt that we will be using Cameo Caterers again next year. In fact we can hardly wait!!
