I'm not a weight-lifter or an ultra-athelete - but these guys have taken on my personal goals and aging body (! ) and got me achieving far more than I ever thought possible. I’ve never met such a friendly and welcoming bunch of people! I was terrified to get started at Fitness Wild due to being the most unfit and the most overweight I’d ever been but the guys immediately put me at ease and now, 12 PT sessions later, I feel so much more confident and strong. I joined Fitness Wild in September 2017 after attending a 'meet the team' at a barbers in Helston. My aim was to get fitter, tone up, lose some weight and start running again. Keith drew up a weights plan for me which varied week to week. I attended -and still attend- Monday and Friday's for an hour on a one to one personal training class. Over the year I have lost a stone and its kept pretty static, my body shape has changed dramatically and I personally feel so much better. I can fit into clothes that wouldn't fit before. My whole body strength has improved and I managed to 'keep going' on the fitness thing, whereas in the past I would join a gym, go for a few weeks and then give up. Keith has taught me how to lift weights correctly and got me running. I try to fit in Park Runs on a regular basis. Fitness Wild also does hourly classes which I have also attended when unable to fit in Mondays or Fridays. Overall its a great way of keeping fit, you are not stuck in a gym and you get out in the open (unless it raining)- hence Fitness Wild. More...

Keith Jacka has been an employee of mine for over 3 years. As Keith's employer, I can verify that he is indeed an extremely able sports coach. He is a highly skilled motivator of others and an integral asset to our team here at the surf school. Keith has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is able to impart thorough, individualized and personal instruction in a clear, concise manner. He is enthusiastic, encouraging and engaging, to our clients ensuring that they get the maximum enjoyment and benefit from their surf lesson. As well as a thorough knowledge of the principles of biomechanics and strength/ conditioning, Kieth's in-depth diet and nutritional expertise has also proved invaluable to clients and fellow staff alike! Keith has particularly impressed me with his flexibility and adaptability during his coaching sessions. I have been going to fitness wild for over a year and a half now. I can't praise it enough. Jimmy and Ben are really lovely guys who are very passionate about their work and are incredibly well informed. I work as a sports massage therapist and am often telling my clients that exercise is good but being taught to exercise well is better. I have learned so much at Fitness Wild, my form has greatly improved, I feel so much stronger and happier for going and I have met a lot of brilliant people. Everyone trains together, male, female, people of all ages and abilities.You don't have to be strong and fit to go to fitness wild, you go there to get strong and fit. When it is dark and cold outside it can be hard to motivate yourself to go to the beach and train, getting cosy and warm at home seems like a much better option, but in reality that hour spent on the beach is so invigorating you really don't want to miss it.
