It’s my birthday, it’s lockdown, and I run an independent restaurant in Salisbury that’s closed on Sundays, so what did we do? ! Order from Cafe Diwali of course!! Amazing food as always The Samosa Chat was delicious, and the Mushroom & Chickpea curry was fresh, tasty and comforting. The takeaway service is brilliant - look forward to enjoying the full dine in experience again soon. More...

Paid a visit to this fantastic little cafe/restaurant for a light lunch. Not disappointed at all. Great AUTHENTIC Indian Street food. The thali was sublime (although a bit too much for me after a starter). I love this sort of cuisine. Fresh, fragrant and just beautifully homely. Attentive and friendly staff. Could do this every day if the mortgage and wife allowed it. More...

Lovely food and very good service from Jacob, we will be back. Not sure if we could have a coffee/tea choice at the end of our meal? Can’t remember seeing coffees on the drinks menu. That would of topped a lovely evening off. More...

Visited recently after a long time. Food seriously gone downhill. I didn't enjoy the meal and had taken some special friends. Really disappointed as it used to be a real gem. I discounted it entirely as an option last night when some friends came to Salisbury to eat. Such a shame : ((( More...

Fantastic food. The food here is absolutely delicious. I’ve not had anything that I wouldn’t recommend. They don’t have a fantastic wine selection but it’s very acceptable and great value overall. Slightly iffy service at times! If you expect it it’s not an issue! I once arrived at 13:45 to eat and was told they stopped serving at 14:30 so I needed to be quick. I was aware of this but you do usually expect to turn up before service ends and still be able to eat without being rushed out! More...

A friend of mine insists that this is the best curry they've had outside of London, which is a massive claim, but it's not untrue! This is easily one of the top places to eat in Salisbury. I prefer the platters they offer at lunch time, which comes on a huge silver plate. It's authentic stuff, and when they say the chili is hot, believe them! I love the aubergine pickle they do as well. Unbelievable and one of my favourite places to eat, ever. More...

Wow, I cannot recommend this place enough, great setting sat in the conservatory. The food is great, it's different, but better. Good vegan options, it's different, interesting and tastes great. This will open your eyes to how things should be. The staff could not do a better job of making you feel welcome and relaxed. Top place to eat in Salisbury!! More...
