I offer practical, client-centred business advice and support to small and medium businesses in the UK. I work with start-ups or people looking to start a new business; established businesses that are looking to grow or address problems;
business owners who want to exit their business - by selling it, handing it over to the next generation of the family or recruiting external managers. It can be lonely, and challenging, running your own business so I also provide mentoring to business owners.
I help companies develop their internal capability and grow in confidence and competence. Sometimes this means just working with the owner, sometimes it means working with a range of stakeholders including staff, key players in the business and customers. The work I do and the way I work is equally effective when working with charities and other Not-for-Profit organisation.
Every client is different so I develop bespoke solutions for each client. What do clients want? Increased profitability; a better work-life balance; greater effectiveness; an exit strategy. All these things are achievable if the client and the advisor build a strong relationship and trust and respect each other.
