We are a relatively new business, we started during the lockdown period as a takeaway only service, only opening our doors for the public to dine in, in May 2021.

Went for a meal for my birthday on Saturday night. Having never been before I’d read some negative reviews and wasn’t too sure what to expect. Turns out I didn’t need to worry. The food was unreal! Friendly staff but a painfully slow and soggy delivery service, after a 2 hour + wait and a £25 bill. The fries had all but turned to mash potato and the burger bun was a damp mess after their transit in tinfoil. Took the train and visited yesterday for the first time, after hearing great things about the place. The place itself looks great. The menu was confusing, as it was just a lunch offer, which we didn’t want, so there were no prices on the menu?! Service was sloooooow. Had to wait a while to order a drink, and then again to receive the drinks. Food arrived pretty quickly. It was “ok”. Not to the same standard as similar places in Manchester, or even Poulton. The best part of the meal was the chips, which I think says it all! I had the chicken burger. It came on a dry bun, with more salad than chicken. The chicken was over-cooked and dry. Had to wait a while to flag someone down to get mayo. My husband had the mini sample platter, again he thought the food was “ok”. The worst part was definitely the service. At one point the server was on their own for quite a while, serving 4 tables. When we tried to flag her down to order more drinks, she was snappy. It again took ages for the drinks to arrive. For a while there was no sign of any staff. One guy got so frustrated waiting to pay that he had to go into the kitchen to find someone. It was still a while until someone appeared. The server was also snappy when asking if we “wanted the bill or another drink”. We would’ve if the service had been better, and if we hadn’t been made to feel like an inconvenience. We wouldn’t make the trip again based on this experience, which is a shame as others clearly love the place. More...

Ordered breakfast after seeing the post about it. My missus had a steak breakfast burrito that had been nowhere near a cow, it was just a tortilla wrap with tasteless scrambled egg in it and a scattering of peppers, no seasoning or steak in sight. Wouldn’t bother with a group at lunch time, ate the food before we’d even been asked for a drink 35 mins later (pre ordered food). Not the poor lasses fault behind the bar but naturally she got the brunt of the tuts and sighs whilst we watched other drinks drift past our table into the paws of other thirsty punters. My mouth was extremely dry at this point and had to resort to drinking my colleagues man fluids. It was as close as I had come to dehydration, the last time was when I ran the London marathon backwards. The chips were also like they had been trodden on, soggy and moist. Asked to upgrade the chips that come with the meals to dirty fries, I was told this would incur a small charge. We ended up paying full price for the Dirty Fries £6. 50 and also came with separate chips therefore 2 lots of chips. I dont normally write reviews but I'm really annoyed this morning. Called yesterday (21/8) to pre order breakfast for today (22/8) to be told they wasn't doing deliverys to then see a post on here advertising they are delivering from 9am. Called to place said delivery to be told they are fully booked now as they was taking pre orders yesterday!!!! After speaking to manager and explaining said conversation she did check with chef who said no to my order. This isn't the 1st time things have happened when ordering from here.
